Name: Simon

Alias: Neuron, Faulty Neuron, Game Cat, Angry Badger, a few others but mostly Neuron or Faulty Neuron

Age: 23 at time of posting

Location: Cheltenham, UK

Favorite Toys: poi and staff, cause they're the only ones i can even vaguely pretend to spin with without hurting myself utterly

Occupation: None/Retail (same thing) or Tax Dodging Student

Hobbies: apart from the very obvious, music, movies, reading, theatre, spending money, video gaming and just about anything computer based

Music : Eclectic.

Movies : LOADS. I like far too many movies. Current favourites include the matrix trilogy, blade runner and the aliens saga (constant favourites), fight club, ah hell, nah, i can't list 'em all. Too many.

Books: Currently reading "Masters of Doom" which is excellent but I like a lot of books. Of fairly varied style. Though sci-fi is a big favourite. Cyberpunk is a constant highlight.

Favorite Color: ... not sure i really have one.

My website: www.neuronfailure.com though it's down at the time of writing for re-development.

Yeah it's a boring intro, perhaps you'll get to know more as things progress (unless you haven't discovered way too much already from me posting in your intro threads:))

I didn't disappear, not really, not for long. And in typing that scentance I've realied the keyboard here in the internet cafe is rubbish so no typos are my fault. I am a happy person, yes, Kit and you are a nosy person yes. biggrin

Polythene - I look forward to hearing from you though my social life is becoming rapidly busy so get in whilst you can! I hung out with some of the guys from burnt toast last night and despite fascist security guards and borough councils denying us the use of the carpark, well, it wasn't raining last night so we spun fire by the river. It was fun. I wish I'd had more but my wicks are notorious for not soaking up much parafin ( mad ) and kept going out. Next time I shall have to take my staff and show them I'm not the incompetant fool I appeared to be. I seem to have developed a magnetic property that draws poi in to my body so I hit myself repeatedly biggrin

Today is an odd day. I came down to guildford tuesday so I'd have time to get everything organised. I didn't imagine for a moment I might actually BE organised and get it all done by wednesday night. I have NOTHING to do today. Tomorrow I move in to my new place but today.... eh.... lost and stuck and confused biggrin Oh well, lots more HoP to read!

I used to have a .... thing.... about vodka.... i shall say no more. *AHEM*

Durbs, thanks! You should see me when I'm not smacking myself every five seconds, lol. I have't spun with those grips in ages so I need to get used to them again (amazing what a difference it can make).

There's nothing wrong with being blindingly caned wink

And I definitely thought everyone's spinning was cooler than mine LOL. I have much to learn.

I haven't called 'cos I've been in labs until 6 every day this week, with coursework after, I have no credit AND I'm not even in Guildford this weekend, thus making meeting for a spin somewhat tricky. I haven't even had time to make my flags ready for Kent ubbcrying But soon!

So I just had a very, very amusing experience.

Tonight my company had a big on-the-company night in the pub. Hooray! Free drinks and free food. biggrin Anyway, I'm stood there after a couple of hours talking to one of my colleagues who just happens to be gay. Now, I've only been there a week and the company is spread across three seperate buildings so a lot of people have never seen me. That's fact one. This was a "bring your partner" event. That's fact two. I have black and pink hair. That's fact three. So I guess it was rather understandable when someone from another office comes up to me whilst my colleague is talking to someone else, waves a finger at the two of us and asks "are you attatched?"

"Nope."

I could *see* him back pedalling mentally. It was rather funny. "So you're not-" and he stops, quickly. The next word out of his mouth was going to be gay, I'm sure. Either way he realised he was going down a rather dangerous road so instead said "european?"

I laughed. "I'm english, english is european."

Squirming visibly he said, a little less certainly, "I meant like dutch, belgian?"

"No."

There was a pause whilst he looked down then back to me. "I f**ked that up didn't I?"

"Yup. Nice to meet you."

Now I don't know about you but I thought that was hillarious. And it started a rumour. Whether I and my colleague are an item was asked at least three times that I know of. wink
