Hey Everyone...

Just a few quick words to say hi and to introduce myself a little..

Well, im a 21 year old female who lives in Brisbane Australia but hails from Masterton in New Zealand..

I have been playing sticks for the past 7 months now, my friend Allie taught me and I love her for it. My fav toy is the short staff, although I have recently bought a new stick that has a lot more length on it and its been interesting to use the two... I also use poi and devil stix and can juggle like a demon...not... I work for an insurance company by the day but during my spare time I work in a lot of mystic fairs doing readings with tarot and palms and auras and such...My fav book is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S Thompson...and also a book Im reading at the moment called "Crossing Over" by john Edwards the medium guy off the telly... The highlight of my life to date was running into The Tea Party after their brisbane concert and hanging out with the drummer Jeff Burrows for beers... That was great.. I saw Tool play the other night and I can say without a doubt that the concert was one of the best I had been to in a long time..go if you get the chance... [Razz]

Well is an honour to finally get to speak to like minded people..hear from you all soon... [Wink]

like you know... a nappy on ya head for a veil... chuck a bed sheet on for a dress... add some sparkles and wiggles and your set!

ubblol

want me to be your wedding planner chicken? biggrin *:. .... wink

ubbloco heheh ubblol

nahhh more so i'm just thinking you can create beautiful atmosphere and stuff with simple things like candles ... or just a few fairy lights about do wonders! (i've got some of those if you want to borrow some smile ) and the whole less is more is a good thing to keep in mind too smile*:.

some of the loveliest weddings i've been to have been the yummy low cost ones .... they feel more relaxed too... the focus more on the people and the love and what your actually cellebrating... rather than the table decorations and the flower boquet and the name tags on the tables for the seating arrangements and the whole *fuss* of it all.... but if fuss is what you want... totally bring it on ... coz that's fun tooooo!!!! ubbrollsmile ...and has that whole mistical magickal tear-jerking air about it aswell... ubblove awwwwwww*:.

and even that... you can have all your traditional wedding stuff... but think creatively about it. smile a lot of things you'd pay good money for you could prolly do yourself and save loads ... and it'd be special just for *you* then too... rather than the stock standard that every other wedding has smile

also remember you have loads of lovely (and i'm sure willing) and resourseful friends and family who could lend a hand with making it all wonderful and lush and amazing for your special day too*:. biggrin ubblove smile*:.

grouphug

ubblove

yeah totally pixie I know where you are coming from.

The reception room has built in Fairy lights, and the place where the wedding is is so super gorgeous. The way I figure is that if we are paying for it then we are going to have a fairytale day, and have all the extras... the expense isnt really going to be a problem as long as I put my head down bum up and work hard... which is what Im doing so I suppose I shouldnt complain at all.

sorry just venting... Its just that I think that Ill only be having 4 bridesmaids instead of 5. Troy is only having 4 groomsmen, so it has to match. redface redface eek redface

Im a bit OCD about stuff like that.

oh well Im just going to leave it until its closer to the time anyway...who knows what might happen in 2 years.

That's really wierd...cuz a couple weeks ago when Brandi was sick, she ended up with a fever rash that scared the living daylights out of me...looked like the measles...and I'm afraid of things like that, I guess because they are supposed to be pretty much eradicated in this part of the world...just like mumps...which I had heard someone say they had recently...and I had myself...and Polio...which my mom had and so did lots of her generation...

You just don't really think of these old illnesses striking after being immunized for them...isn't supposed to happen...which is part of why it's so scary, to me, I guess...

Okay...I babble...

I had chicken pox...twice...once when I was a kid...and then again when I was 19...was not fun!!!

Hmmm...pink stuff...would that be calamine lotion??? I always hated that stuff!!!

Oh...Kristy...if you need something for the itching...and you don't already know about this stuff...if you have Aveeno products over there, try getting the oatmeal bath...I used it for my son years ago for chicken pox...and it's great for things like poison ivy...so it should be really great for the measles, too...

Hope you feel better soon!!! hug
