Cass!!! biggrin Yes...I think we'll see what we can do about getting to the EJC...I'll head to the Ardeche, then out to EJC...IF I have the vacation time...that's the trick, isn't it? Vacation time.

I can take on Spitfire and pounce this weekend!
Do your worst laydees! ubblol

Cass- Vanize mentioned about going up to the EJC, and he's coming over to the Ardeche. If he and Spitfire were to come to the Ardeche before the EJC, we could maybe all come up together. (As long as I can get time off work).
Sound a plan? biggrin

I had thought I was going to a science conference in paris just before the EJC, but it looks like that isn't going to happen, so I can manage whatever order I think (though there is still a small chance I'll have to be in Paris from the 18th to th 25 of July for that conference).

The EJC starts on the 25th and is in Lille I believe? I will almost certainly be there for a good chunk of that time.

And Cass won't be in paris till after the EJC.

And I would REALLY like to see Spitfire again - it's been too long to be so far away from such a close friend!

ok, let's work this out and see how to make it happen.

Where is Ardeche in relation to Lille and Paris?

Hmm...South Beach doesn't allow glow sticks? Their music is better. biggrin

We'll see about Numbers...that'd be Saturday night, though, since Friday night we'll be across the street at Helios.

Thanks for the suggestions VT!!

Vanize!!! YES...we've got to make this happen! It's been ENTIRELY too long! Hmmmmm.......my biggest issue is a plane ticket. I'll be paying a TON of $$ to fly that time of year.

I also need to figure out where I'm flying into.

BUT, I'm very excited about this!

probably cheaper to fly into paris from houston rather than berlin. I can meet you there. It will only cost maybe another $90 to fly to berlin from there, if you book far enough in advance. that is, if you wanted to come to berlin too...

Yeah...hmmm

The thing is....I've got limited vacation time...so....I think hitting france is our best bet, but I think I'd rather fly in closer to the Ardeche, though that tends to add costs...arg

Anyway, we'll work something out. I do want to hit the ejc with Mand, Cass and you.

what dates are we talking?

You knoiw? European countries are damned civilized for giving 4 + weeks of vacation...this 2 week paid, one week unpaid thing sucks (I bought a week's worth of flex time at the beginning of the year.)

Nope. It used to be called the Mausoleum. It's on westheimer just before Taft. About 1 1/2 blocks closer to Montrose, and on the other side of the street from Numbers. It's never been a very big club, but the owner likes us, and lets us have free roam of the outside for fire play when we want to use it. We've been spinning there for at least 2 years.
