I got bored so I decided to change this again.
Name: Elanna (remember, folks, "Ela" is spelled with one 'L' not two).
Age: Himitsu da.
Location: Central Jersey, or Newark, DE.
Hobbies: Spinning, music, chainmail, slackline walking, martial arts/weapons, anime, video games, reading, skating/dancing, sleeping...
Spinning for: A few years, but nothing to show for it.
Favorite toys: Staff, fans, poi, eating torches, slackline, a nice piano, my NES
Books: I love to read, so there are few books I've read that I dislike. I prefer fantasy novels, though.
Movies: Anything by Mel Brooks, The Last Unicorn, The Princess Bride, any of the Monty Python films, Pirates of the Caribbean, LOTR, The Princess and the Goblin, the old Disney movies, the list goes on and on...
Favorite color: Blue.
Favorite websites: HoP, of course.

I sort of have a car...my family has a third car that I share with my sister. It's "our car" but technically it's still my parents' car and I can't always use it or go where I want with it.

yeah, "my" car is still in dad's name! and well, will be until i'm about 25 and realise my learners permit is about to expire and i need to hurry up and get my license!

The stereo in my car's broken.
We took "my" car to the city on Saturday and when we picked it up to go home, it wouldn't work. The clock doesn't work, the radio doesn't work, the CD player doesn't work.

I know! I have to take my poor car to the car doctor and see if it can be fixed.
My iPod broke a while ago, so I can't even listen to that. Oddly enough, I don't really sing in the car...

I used to sing anywhere and everywhere when I was younger, but not so much anymore. Especially when there are people around.

Heh. I have horrible stage fright. It used to be much, much worse, but it's still pretty bad.
If I'm just hanging out with friends and we're all being silly and stuff, I don't mind...but other than that...

i was in 4/6 of my school plays while I was there (yr10 i was in japan and yr12 i was studying) and i was in my school choir so sang at a tonne of events. oh, and i sang at my graduation too.

I was in the pit orchestra for our school musicals. I did sing in the school choir, though. And at graduation.
I still do pit and choir at uni. It's fun.

what do you play?
i'd like to join the theatre at uni, only it sounds like too much effort (uni is an hour away from where i live), and im petrified of coming into a bigger scene and finding out i'm crap...i prefer my fantasy that i'm a star

Sort of...aux perc is really more the mallet percussion parts and tamborine and stuff like that and I've done timpani before, too. The real drumming is usually taken care of by a drum set.

It is pretty fun to play.
Figuring out which one you have to switch to which note is a pain in the arse, though.

did clarinet for a term/semester (dont remember)
and i did voice. but i dont feel like thats much of an instrument

Aww, voice is an instrument, too. Most vocalists just give it a bad rep, is all.
I can't play clarinet...I tried it once, but I couldn't get a sound out of the durned thing.

Hey, playing the triangle can be tricky! And you can't just play triangle...you have to play other stuff, too.

Really? Weird! Aux perc people have to be able to play lots of things and they usually switch instruments for different songs and stuff.
