I have a black beanie too. It says Brilliant on it. You can wear it in two positions, On and Off. Depends whether you feel like drawing attention to your stunningly first class intellect and abilities, or weather you only want the people walking behind you to notice how superb you are

Gordie (OS1) proudly announced that his had broken his nose twice. And Durbs seems to enjoy being hit by them.
Thinking about it ours is a lunatic hobby/profession. We regularly douse things in flammable liquids, light them and whirl them round.
For fun.
it's craziness I tell you.
good fun though.

I was talking about HoPpers in general. Not us specifically. I don't have any beaming poi either. I was just meaning we all have a perverse attraction to the painful side of arts.
And you can, whilst ritually beating yourself trying to get any trick, rest fairly self assuredly on the fact thast even the greatest amongst us gained at least one bruise trying to nail the exact same move.
We're alll bonded by the pain and struggle, hard work and patience we go through to acheive our art.
