On Sunday 9th November there is to be a 10 hour Poi - athon extravaganza with:
(hopefully up to) 10 hour non stop poi
The idea is to have a poi relay with at least one person doing poi for 15 mins and then the next person taking over - and keep that going for hopefully 10 hours.
(We were going to try and set a record for the Guiness book of records but they aren't going to send someone to verify it - so never mind)
To Raise money for Trust4Jaia - a trust to raise money to raise awareness / help fight GROUP B STREPTOCOCCUS (which sadly took the life of my friends Lara and Rob's baby. I can send more info in required it's a good cause!
There will also be:
Fire poi
Live music
DJs
Raffles,
Art Workshop
Juggling,
Face Painting
Beauty Pampering
Bubbles
Balloon Magic
Beer
Food
It's at the Market (ex - Firkin) pub Greenwich High St (London) on Sun 9th November noon - 11pm
So either come along on the day and have a swing / generally have fun - if you definately are going to be there then get in touch with me and let me know name, contact details, if you're definite or just maybe, and what times you can make. I'll send you a sponsorship form.

Or post on here and I'll keep an eye on it.
And can you make the subject say POI or something similar - I get loads of spam so if I delete it if I don't recognise the address or subject!

Hello! Read about this on Boing! Just to say I'll try and make it along as I'm over in London that weekend - but it's the day after the London Juggling Convention so my arms might ache too much to spin!

just got back from the poiathon, couldnt stay long as i was with my olds
i got there just before the fire started, so cool, very talented (esp the cute guy with the '£1.99' t on )
anyways, just to say well done really, a wicked evening, just wished i couldv stayed longer
