WARNING: This may be the most fun you'll have this year! The Cosmos Jugglers run a 5 day course in Staff, Poi, Club Swinging, Juggling, Acro balance, Yoga, Choreography, Fire and Fire Sculpture at Laureston Hall in SW Scotland. The course is informal and relaxed and is a whole bunch of fun, there is a UV playroom, cabaret and a large fire show.Laureston Hall is a working organic commune set in 200 acres of forest with it's own Loch and woodfired sauna. I have to say it is one of the most beautiful places i've been in the UK. Fresh air, birdsong and wild forests.Personally i cannot think of anything better than spending a few days chilling, learning and playing with like minded poiers and jugglers in such a wonderful place.I have been 6 years running.I can't recommend it highly enough.Simply find out more by contacting Anna Semlyen on +44 (0)1904 654355 or atwww.cosmosjugglers.co.ukI will see you there!Axis

Cassandra, try this link.If you get the page to work then there's a map that'll show you how amazingly far from London it is.

Random, as you haven't said where you live it makes it difficult for anyone to answer how you can get there and how much it will cost.Perhaps you should look up rail information?

Meh

thanks a lot Cantus smileOK so this $really$ looks and sounds GREAT, pretty much exactly what i'd LOVE ... but it really does not fit in my budget now cause i need to save money for my trip around the world next year. So maybe it'll turn into a visit to london then smileHopefully I'll be able to attend this workshop some other time. Looking forward to reading reports and feedback on this though smileShine onCassandra

Damn computers I've just written out a nice big post to let everyone know what a great week I had @ Laurieston with Cosmos & everyone, & it's decided to jump off my screen into obscurity, & now I've gotta go, so here's a concise version:

Awesome location, wicked people, great workshops, all sorts of workshops, tasty-tasty organic fodder, super, great, smashing, champion... & other such comments.

Jim has started taking bokings for next year so have a butchers & get in touch.

Hope to see ya there next year
