Fire poi breaks flies off...

That was scary and thank god for fire saftey equipment. Never spin without water and a fire extinguisher. While spinning I just had the flame head of my fire poi break off the eye bolt and flies off. I noticed the bolt was bent at the tip. I've emailed HOP and am waiting a response as to why this may have happened.

I always check and double check all links and connections before lighting up. Anyone else had this happen, or know what you can do to make sure it doesn't happen? This could have ended very ...very badly had it not landed in a safe spot to be doused with water.

Problem solved, they are sending a replacement pair. Excellent customer service.
