Actually she just told me the real reson, it's because everytime she forms an attatchment with someone she loses them, andshe get hurt, and she didnt want it to happen again. So it looks like i'm giving advice now on how to deal with heartbreak because she's worried about when we would eventually break up. She's still a friend and I guess I gotta help.

ZOMG I'm in so much pain!!! If I think any poi moves are going to dislocate digits or damage sockets I'm not going to care and do more advanced things that are safe for my aging (and previously repeatedly injured) body!!!
As soon as my fingers no longer look mangled and joints no longer look swollen I'll go back to using my better judgment...

What did you do to yourself? Also I just got back from my first drum circle They have it every Wednesday at this place called the Golden Gate Cafe in Detroit. We were driving around trying to find where to go to because it's on a corner and all of the sudden it's just like OH MY GOD! THERE IT IS! You see a million parked cars, a fire a bunch of people drumming and a ridiculous yellow house with all there weird junk sculptures and a big willow tree. Best time I've had in a long time I'm wondering if my parents will let me go again, my mom thinks she got a contact buzz from all the smoking. I hope the few really weird people don't change the answer.

How fun are drum circles! the last one i went to my mates and i danced and just enjoyed the peoples company. Fires and drums just trigger a tribal sense of fun i love 'em!

Strangely, I don't think I know of any regular drum circles around here. Haven't really looked, but I'm surprised I haven't heard of them via word of mouth...

Agree to the wings! Also I bought myself a 3-inch acrylic ball from someone in the fireguild that was busking at one of the local street fairs This way my dad does not see it on the credit card statement and flip about how I spend too much money when I handle my money according to his strict rules exactly. Then I spend some of my planned set aside saved equipment money and he flips because $10 from each paycheck goes into making purchases and I guess it's too much for him.

Filming a tech blog is hard! I got my tiny tripod, and no camera person, and all the parks are full of noisy little spawnlings (got no indoor space).
But I got a new book! Conceptual Mathematics: A First Introduction to Categories by Lawvere and Schanuel. This one and Abstract and Concrete Categories by Adamek, Herrlich, & Strecker (I believe) make way more sense to me than the ones I've been trying to read.
