So, I'm learning the Hyperloop(Air wrap) and I keep hitting my right hand with my left poi going into the wrap. It's driving me nuts and I don't know what to do!

What do you mean by hyperloop (air wrap)?

Is this in wallplane or buzzsaw (inside) plane?

People have different ideas about what a hyperloop is. That said, try a trawl through the technical section.

This troubled me for a few days when learning air wraps, I do mine differently than any other spinner I have encountered though...so I may not be much help

You're welcome for this entirely useless reply grin

First of all, the knot (nexus/tangle/foobaz/whatever) will need to move either inwards or outwards due to it never being in pure wallplane, ever. (Otherwise the heads would collide.)

They will meet at some angle, either outside or inside your arms. Once they do that, to undo the knot, move it to the opposite. (For me, I almost always do it outside to inside.)

Will try get a diagram up in a couple days, but this computer does not have anything worth using, sorry.

And, like I said, the tech section should have this.

I found hyperloops and air wraps were easier to learn on a horizontal plane. try putting a air wrap in the middle of a horizontal (overhead) 3 beat weave. gravity helps if u wrap coming from top to bottom.
