Happy birthday.:)

I forgot to practice hi-lo shower. I learned 7441 though, managed a few rounds of it. Was also practicing ring passing. I suck at passing.

Anyone got a decent explaination for reverse mill's? Supposedly it's "the same" but with one ball doing something different, but that's not helping me understand it much at the moment...

Cheers... so the 3 ball is thrown the other direction to the 1 and 2 balls? Oh wait, it's just straight up like it was, the "in what amounts to a normal cascade throw" bit is a bit confusing. Anyway, got that, feels a bit odd at the moment.

Apart from that Rubenstein's has stopped feeling hurried and jerky and is now much, much smoother. So much so that I seem to have temporarily forgotten how to go into Mills

When I learnt Burkes I forgot how to mess as well, what an awkward feeling!

That tutorial can be confusing, maybe observing the pattern will help... although, I still cannot do it yet.

Wow, TRMM has to be the easiest trick I ever learnt. Those few JAG tutorials are awesome! I already learned Rubensteins from them. The explanation is brilliant!

Edit: Just realised I completely contradicted lemonkey. Sorry.

Just because I struggled with it(and still do!), doesn't mean everybody else will. I may be a special case.

Dunno, if I do it the way the tutorial says then it seems the 3rd (underhand) ball is the lead ball, not the second. Ho hum, it's all confusing, but I think I've got it. I'll have to ask a proper juggler though just to check

Crossarm Tennis and Burke's Barrage - well, the one right at the bottom of this page which seems to be a variation... certainly feels easier to me

Ah, thanks. In the standard BB then the ball is clawed under the other two balls right? And if you go over the other two balls you're doing this

I claw it over the other two balls, I think.

To get into it, I do a mills, then claw the first ball in the pattern.

i've been playing around with ways of going into (6x, 4) and (4x,6) recently. I can go into both patterns straight from cascade, with no 6's 7's or anything, just straight into pattern. (4x6) is easier - from 5 throw 64x2ish and then keep pattern going. on tuesday i got into 6x4 from 5 with a 6x followed by a hold on other hand and then into (6x4)

Learnt 7club 3 count last night, not as difficult as i imagined

Yesterday at Leeds con I learnt -

7 club 2 count.
6 club 4 count, and 2 count. Had a go at 3 count, twas hard.
... and my 4 club pattern seems to have become a lot stronger, with a consistant 20 throws each time! Maxing out at 40 though...

I also met Hexagonic, who is a good juggler. Saw him doing (6,4x)(4x,6) (I think!) with balls, which looked good.

I have recently become interested in juggling and i have learned how to juggle 3 clubs. Yesterday i went to leeds juggling convention and i learned how to juggle 4 balls (cascade) and i was shown a load of cool tricks with 3 balls...still trying to do those though.
