Manchester Spinners Meet up Info + Stuff

Yeah, can anyone confirm this? It's all gone very quiet. It's either going for a burn or to a Burn's night do for me tonight, so I have to choose!

Neon is in Bristol. Steaks, Milhouse, Dan are in a bike race, Fractos is doing something else, Bubble isn't coming because she didn't know there is a meet. Sye and me are not sure if we should set off on a 20miles journey for a non-existing meet. I can't get through to Flashpoint, Elaine or Terry.

So I guess this one is getting called off then?

Well with Lee Hughes (whatsthespeedofdark), god knows what his HoP profile is anymore, moving to Australia at the end of Feb I think we should have a night out in manchester with him. Apparently theres a spinning meet on the 8th but to be perfectly honest I think we would be better forgetting about tails and socks and parafin, and catching trains on a sunday (and work the next day) and have a decent night on a friday or a sat night another time. You might see him on the 8th I suppose but I think it would be much nicer of us all to have a propper night and lavish our attention on him before he goes, so if anyone else agrees lets have a seperate night for lee.

We can meet, eat, drink, cry, hug, drink again. Can we get some ideas going, hes moving at the end of Feburary, date unknown to me as of yet.

Hey guys, Right i think that the meet on the 14th will be better if we all bring some nibbles, and some beer, meet up at castlefield at about 4pm? ( or later if preferred) and can have a couple of hours of daylight to socialise and chat and then when dusk falls is when the fire comes out. I will be bringing my camera and tripod as well so i can get some photos for memories or the greatest group of fire spinners in manchester!!!

ATM i think we might need to spread the word a little more and get as many ppl coming as we can!!! its gunna be great.

Hey! I'm pretty new to this poi business and was directed to this site to meet up wth others etc! Does anybody know any information abot the next meet?

I'd like some inof on the next one too. I'm still around Manchester, though its been a while since I came to a meet with you guys.

Just started looking through pictures on my hard drive, and found some from the 2007 meets. Figured my camera could do with a bit more mileage these days, so I'll see about coming to the next one.
