This competition is coming to a close and no one has uploaded a picture. Obviously most of the people who buy our Frisbees do not hang around on the site and read our competitions page , but then we're not "Home of Frisbee".

So if you're after an easy USD$300 credit to your HOP shop account, and you do have a LED Frisbee then just upload a photo and you have a very good chance of winning.

Oh, and does anyone else think that "a LED...." should be "an LED...."

well... I always say the acronym long-hand... L.E.D, so yes... I personally say "...an LED...". however... many others say it as a word, with a short 'E', in which case "...a LED..." is also perfectly acceptable.

stupid english language...

oh... and I wish I had an LED frisbee... does that count?

If I had a frisbee I'd enter it! But I would hardly use it so I can't justify buying one

"a" or "an" depends on whether you say the individual letters "ell ee dee" or "led" give that it's technically an acronym then "an LED" is probably correct for written.

Tis indeed 'an L.E.D.' (The fullstops are also grammatically correct, what with it being abbreviations and all. )

The 'n' is there to break up the sound of the two vowels next each other. do people really not pronounce it as three seperate letters?

Anywho...

I has an L.E.D. Frisbee. I has left it in 'ull, though, innit. I reckon I can get a picture before the 15th... maybe...

Oooh, count me in, I just need to send my frisbee back to HoP central for repair as the LED unit fell off a few minutes into play

Point Blank,

That should not have happened. No need to send anything back. Just contact Support Department and they'll ship a replacement.

An example of a person who only reads the first post and discards everyone elses...

I think we should come up with a name for that...

I always though an was used before a word starting with a vowel, like "an elephant" or "an owl".

I guess because L.E.D has a strong "E" sound "a L.E.D" clashes.

I guess I've just always said "an L.E.D" 'cos it just sounds right.

actually it's because we pronounce L as "ell" therefore it's an initial vowel requiring "an" as the article.
