I am not too sure if this is the right place - but I got a new move too.
what it is: A one handed cartwheel into a jumping poi threw the legs maneuver.
Brake down: 1. take both poi into the left hand - hold at end of chains. 2. Spin them helicopter style above your head clockwise (poi spinning towards face) 3. When poi pass your head - throw your self in to a one hand cartwheel (hand with poi should be by groin when upside down poi will be between your legs in the air. 4. when you finish the cartwheel leap into the air sending the poi under your right leg, then to your left.
Done.
Sounds weird trying to explain it -- umm.. if you dont understand PM me with questions and I will try to tell you more

Whohooo
After long practice I finally got the butterfly spiralwrap just as I like it, smooth and precise and without any big moves with my arms/hands.
I also got the splittime butterfly weave fully in splittime without any sliptime :P
I had one idea as well. Left hand isolated forward in buzzawplane while my right doing cat eyes with the hand to left wick and then change between horizontal and vertical cateyes :P SWWWWWEEEEEET!

Hmmm, maybe you think I´m rude and short now but I think if you talk about cateyes and know how it works and you probably do if you know what a cateye is?! Then there is nothing for me to help yuo with cos the rest is just practice to get the feeling, the cateye itself is very easy to do and to understand but hard to get sustainable.... I´m rude now?
The tip I could give is first to make sure that you can controll a 3 and 4 pedal antispin. If you wnna do cateye hybrids with islolation I recomend first to learn 3 or 4 pedal antispin with right hand next left end of poi that is islotaed in buzzaw.
I hope I helped you a little bit?! I´m a really bad teacher online and especially in english so please come to <EJC and I promisse I will teach it to you

Haha unfortunately the EJC is in Europe, where I am not!
I've got the vertical cateye fine, that's no problem at all, it's just the horizontal cateye that I can't seem to get my head around. Every now and then I *think* I have it...
Mucky. I went along the same path you did with "Horizontal cateye, eh?" And then had difficulty getting it... I've been getting better results when I return to the way I learned the cateye, holding the poi head in one hand and directing it through the 4 main positions it needs to be in to make it horizontal.

Richee... is that with the hands swapping which is doing the pendulum each beat? I've been playing around with that, but had sort of stopped playing with pendulum variations... I'll get back on that one.
Sorry, what I meant was do you tend to do it with the hands swapping or not? I'm aware its possible, but doing it without swapping seemed unbalanced to me... swapping seemed to have a more natural feel.
