New Scientist magazine has this contest to win a trip to space... and I'm looking for some support for my entry. here's the link...

wibbles without gravity could be an issue unless they where truly isolated and with well balanced poi but poi spinning in general could be fun and your planes should still be quite tidy coz the centrapetal force (centrifugal for the non physic people) would be more constant without the influence of gravity.

Imagine anti spin flowers with a foward roll, how cool would that look.

Multi-poi. You wouldn't even need to keep hold of 'em .... Set 'em going and then grab some more and set them off too.

Could be nice and dangerous.

As could fire poi in space ... in zero-g fire moves like a liquid dosn't it. Could be pretty ... and all sorts of "Don't immolate yourself!" fun.
