Hei, not sure if this is the right place to advertise but a there are a bunc of kenyan spinners who are looking to get a workshop or a meet happening down at the beach on the north coast of kenya sometime surrounding new years and christmas.. if any one is interested or has any advice for organising said event would be really great..!!

Techfest is student's science and technology festival of IIT Bombay and is the largest technical festival in Asia. check out the website at www.techfest.org
it will be held on 24-26th january 2009 at mumbai, india

at all the three nights of the festival we have a grand technoholix shows in open air theater where around 7000 people visit. we had previous great performances by pyromania(isreal), laser floyd(united states), lumen(switzerland), feeding the fish(u.k.) and sand animation(germany) to name a few.

we have scope for smaller performances also in closed hall of 3000 capacity.

Hello fellow spinners,
I'm new here, so probably haven't been able to navigate in the right direction for the info I'm looking for but I really hope someone can help me or point me in the right direction ....
I was in Goa at the new year this year and just as i booked my train ticket out of Goa, someone told me about the Juggling Convention, which i totally missed out on because I had no idea it was on!
So I really don't want to miss out on anything like that.. ever again!
So please could someone tell me if this is going to take place again in India next year or anytime at all?
And for that matter, is anything like this going to take place anywhere around Asia (especially Thailand), as I'm going to be around for a while in Asia, mostly Thailand and India, then Laos and Cambodia for a while now, and really need some new spinning input!
Any help is appreciated!

also in the USA: mid-Atlantic area, there is Playa del Fuego (kinda like a mini Burning Man) in Delaware, 2x a year around memorial day weekend, and Columbus day weekend

Mood Indigo has become a cultural giant of sorts, attracting over 60,000 footfalls every year from more than 500 colleges, hosting over 150 competitions, workshops, interactive sessions and international artists from all over the world showcasing their unique talents. Other performances this (2009) year includes rock legend Porcupine Tree. In the past we have witnessed enthralling shows by the Ensiferum- Legendary folk metal band from Finland, Korean B-boys, No-Fit-State Circus from UK, Jan Akkerman from Netherlands, Zakir Hussain, an internationally renounced Indian percussionist, and many more.

So to take this to another level ive created a facebook app that allows events to be added by country and state for every country in the world, anyone can add events in which then get reviewed to prevent spam

An international fire festival called “Fire Fest Goa” takes place on the Indian Ocean coast from February 22 to February 29. More than 100 top-liner fire and circus performers from all over the world will take up a challenge of the Guinness World Record longest 7 day nonstop fire show. During the whole week the fires will not go out even for a second. National Indian TV will cover the event along with the on-line Internet video streaming.

Everybody can join this event. “Fire Fest Goa” is a chance to give a real opportunity to the people of diverse religions and nationalities to change the world for the better altogether.

Spark - fire and flow retreat!!!!
So listen up and keep your eyes peeled.
We are having a fire and flow arts community sharing event in Peoria IL!!!

When might you ask? August 3-5 2012

Where might you ask? 3 Sisters Park Chiliocothe Il – where we will be camping and hanging out . ( Hotels can be optional for those not so found of the woods) We are 3 hrs from Chicago, St Louis, Indiana. Even closer for those in Bloomigton IL, Champagne, Springfield.

What might you ask? Poi, Staff, Contact Staff, Hoop, Lyra, Fabric\Silks, Juggling\contact, martial arts, Dance, Cyr Wheel Classes and more!!!
It will be 3 days of sharing, connecting while meeting more of your flow arts family.

Workshops will run each day from 10 am to 7 pm( friday 12 to 7) , when dusk hits we will gather at the fire stage , and move with our fire and led tools!! till we say no more – while the Dj's throw down on the musical opera to our flow.

There is not a way to say how amazing this is going to be and I cant wait to meet and hang out with all of you.
