Favourite Music Video

I came across my fav music video online, and I noticed its got looovley streaming speed, at least if you are on broadband that is. Anywhoo I wanted to share the brilliance that is Alison Goldfrapp to the world, and wanted to find out what is your favourite usic video?

Id probably go for Give It Away - Chili Peppers but then again I am quite biased really, No Suprises - Radiohead is pretty good aswell

I'm with Bov- my absolute favourite is Bjork's 'All is Full of Love'. The music alone is brilliant, the Chris Cunningham video is exceptional. I can still remember where I was when i first saw it, and many years later (when visiting Lightning in NY actuallly) stumbled across the DVD.

So yes.. guess my favourite

Although I like works of Spike Jonze, Chris Cunningham who specialise in stunning weird imagery et al, I prefer Michel Gondry who's raison detre seems to be the mixing of layers upon layers of reality as seen in Bjork's 'Bachelorette', Beck's 'Deadweight', The White Stripe's 'Dead Leaves in the Dirty Ground', Cibo Matto's 'Sugar Water' and erm... Kylie's 'Come into My World'. His expertise in handling layers of reality is used to great effect in 'Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind'. Great technique mixed with a sweet and honest love story.

But my favourite music video has to be Sigur Ros' 'viðrar vel til loftárása'. As well as being my favourite song of all time, the video manages to capture the sweetness and innocence of a boyhood gay romance without turning it into a paedophile's wet dream.

I was in the pub earlier and watched Genesis' 'Land of Confusion'.

That was pretty cool, with the spitting image puppets and all...

Oh god I remember that one! Is that the one where Ronald Reagan (or someone else) drowns in their own spit in bed?

I remember a mid-eighties series finale of 'Spitting Image' ending with Reagan pressing the nuke button mistaking it for the 'Maid Service' button after shagging Nancy and ends with a surprisingly moving mottage of the Spitting Image characters superimposed against a sunset soundtracked by The Police's 'every breath you take'.

Oh yeah, I still have 'The Chicken Song' on vinyl...

the only music video (all right its a full concert) that makes me laugh every time I see it. Just watch the song Superhero and you'll get why.

I think my favourite from last year was Supergrass: "Low C". It's well worth watching the high quality version and all the way through

I think that Girls Not Grey by AFI is a rather strange video, and probably one of my favourites, but my favourite has to be Crushed Like Fruit by InMe as i think that at atleast one point in their career nearly ever rock band has dreamed of having a building fall apart because of what they're playing

i like the nine inch nails music video for the song "Only" where's it's got that guy banging on the inside of that pin thingamabob that people put their hands agains and it leaves a mold, pretty spiffy animation in that video, and a good song to boot!
