Birmingham - <fire spinning & chicken wings> meet 01/21/06 Sat

Just wonder if anyone interest in gathering together in Birmingham (Kings Health) for spin and chicken wings do?

Date: 21st Jan Sat & half day 22nd Sun

Food-(unlimited chicken wings, with unlimited flavour; well can have other thing if you really want to...)
parafin-(i think i can get them locally)
bed space-(can squeeze 3-4ppl for that night, need to bring your own sleeping bag)

I'll try and remember to top up my paraffin. If so i'll bring 10l, otherwise 5ish as I found some i'd forgotten about at home. Anyone can use mine as I want to empty it and only fill it just before spins instead of living with it in my room.

Any chance you have room for 2 resonable newbys to turn up and watch those more experianced in action, wouldnt need a place to stay as can drive there and back sat night.

I just had a dream about this meet! We went round to yours and you had a whole bunch of expensive guitars, including a double-necked guitar/mandolin thing which I played and got a really rippin tune out of before I broke a string :o(

Then it got dark and we went out onto the park to spin (it was a cross between selly park and cathedral square in town) and there were a bunch of loud, obnoxious drummers and didge players there who didn't care that they were waking up the neighbours. I think Froggy was with them getting quite pizzed off, but then she saw that we'd come out and she came and joined us instead. Somehow, the fact that she came to hang with us was profound vindication of something...

Anyway, looking forward to Saturday :o)
