It's at this time of year lets face it we all end up watching Christmas television! And the Christmas movies are often the same ones each year, so for me, a certain film is a tradition at Christmas, just like watching the Coca Cola advert "Holidays are coming", so for me Christmas is not complete without Gremlins being on, and I'm strictly talking about the first film.

I understand obviously it's a comedy/horror and who would think thats very Christmas-y, the total look of the film seems all about Christmas to me, I dont know if it's on this Christmas, I so hope it is. For the movie illiterate Gremlins.

Anyone else have any opinions on this film being an excellent Christmas movie?
Is Gremlins the ultimate Christmas movie

Even if it's not technically speaking a Christmas movie like Gremlins is, Christmas for me is not complete without ...uhm...The Sound of Music. Sorry, but it's tradition.

I spent my Christmas Eve in the hospital with my girlfriend recovering from her C section, playing monopoly (and winning at that )
Gremlins is a great movie, but maybe not so much so themed for the holidays?
And Brit Joe is right, the second one is much better :P

lol yeah thats a fuinny bit, its a transexual gremlin, a regular gremlin drank a bottle of liquid with the female symble on it it found in the lab and turned out like that...I think its been years since I watched it.

I like the spider bit, pretty ambitious for a puppet.
