i remmber the day when i found out santa wasnt real i was devo
but i got mum to still write pressies from santa to me to make it feel like he was real what a confession oh i was 10 ha ha ha ho ho ho merry xmas to all

I honestly don't remember a time when I truely believed Santa existed. That's not to say such a time never existed, I just don't remember it.

I don't know...maybe around kindergarten? 5? 6? It was never exactly a huge revelation...

well i have to admit santa was huge in my family and im the youngest of four girls ( my poor dad) but i use to get in fights with outher kids at school trying to convince them that santa was real

Id also say around 5 or 6, got a bit suspicious when i found my presents in my moms shopping bag...

I don't rememebr my exact age, but I know where and how it was made known to my parents. We were sitting in a restaurant (which scarrily is the one I am now working, more than 10 years later!) and talking about what I wanted for Christmas, and mum and dad obviously suspected, but had a great way of checking it. They asked "and where are you going to sent your letter?" to which I replied with our home address and promptly burst into tears.

Sort of reminds me of when I found out the tooth fairy wasnt real. I was severly put off when I didnt get any money because my mom couldnt find where I hid my tooth.

does anyone else still say Father Christmas? Am i part of dying breed?!
I dont think finding out was a huge thing for me coz i cant remember thinking about it, i just slowly dissappered over the years i spose

I think I found out when I was 9, at primry school, and FATHER CHRISTMAS came to our school. And We all got to go into FATHER CHRISTMAS' grotto and I sat on his knee, then I started crying.... cos I realised it was my daddy dressed up as FATHER CHRISMAS! tragic huh? lol

I found out when my letter from santa was in my sisters handwriting............ Incidently St Nicholas (father christamas) is the patron saint of thieves........ also, before coca cola came along he was dressed in green and white...... it was the coca cola company that made him red and white

but still, xmas is a good excuse to crawl into a bottle is it not?

i remember when me and my brother found out.. my dad and his friend Nigel were in the kitchen, and we were playing in the hall outside, we heard my dad say "my back's killing me i dont know how i'll be able to get the kids presents out from the loft"

Seriously, I think I was 5 when I found out. It was more of a joke really, my sisters and I trying to tell my dad that we knew he was FATHER CHRISTMAS and him trying to convince us that FATHER CHRISTMAS was real. It never worked after we found our presents in the back room, after endless hours of searching.

I started getting an inkling when I was about 7/8 I think. Someone managing to visit every single child on the planet, managing to break into their houses down a thin, sooty chimney, and come out totally clean, let alone if the house didnt have a chimney. That always confused me.
And the fact that rich kids always got better presents than poor kids.
I suppose I was more confused, and to an extent I felt like [censored], that my parents, and entire family, had been repeatedly lying to me for so many years.
