Hello everyone! Do you fancy a spin in the vale next sunday instead of the park? There are loads of freshers who might like it a lot and join us on sundays in the park! i'll post some more details soon

Hello everyone!
A friend of mine from friendly fire music asked me if we could go and do some fire on friday 13th of october in the med bar for an allnighter they have there. It's good music and apparently it will be the first time that they have a live band. The event is called "Friendly fire session", how can we not go for a spin?

Hope u r all ok!

Santi

Okay then. Sunday late afternoon/early evening at the Vale?

Santi - do you know if we're allowed to spin fire there?

Yey jon!

here's The Vale, spinning will probably take place in between the pond and the halls of res at the corner of The Vale and Edgebaston Park Road. I'm not sure about parking though - Santiago, can you advise?

If not at The Vale, we'll be on Selly Park, on the bit of the park bordering Warwards Lane.

Sorry if you vastly prefer multimap over google maps but google's what you're getting!

Hope to see you this weekendy!

you guys soooooooo need to come over here (20 min on a trian from new street) yeah ok i am speaking from a biased opinion but the last meet was uber and i can not get over there as its too far to travel with the kids at that time.

on a side note my oldest (12) did his fire performance last friday for juggling club, he kicked ass and made a proud mum even prouder

Im quite sure we can go an spin some fire. we did not too long ago and it was fine. I think there is some parking available but I'm not completely sure, you'll have to find the way to get to shackelton.

GothFrogette, could you give some more details about where and when you meet? I may go some time for a change...

take care

Hey everyone.
I'm new to this site (as i am poi) and am pretty amazed that there is all this stuff in brum to come and see/do. i'll have to see if i can get down to selly park on a sunday as i live that way. Is it usually every sunday people are down there or just certain ones

Ash

It's as regular as possible, but sometimes the weather or the amount of people in brum doensnt make it possible. we ususally speak about it here the day/s before or that same day. Next sunday we are going to the vale instead of selly park though. Why dont you come on monday to circus society in the birmingham university, guild of students in the underground frm 5 to 7? there are loads of beginners who just joined the society and a few people teaching them some things.

Naughty froggy thread hijacking.

Who knows what bus i can catch from birmingham centre to selly park and where it leaves from? Or would it be easier to get a taxi?

Yups. If you're going to be at New Street anyway, get a train to Selly Oak station and the park is 10 mins walk from there.

Bus: 61, 62, 63, 64, 964 from Corporation Street to Bristol Road, Selly Oak.

Cab probably about £7.

But if you're thinking of coming next weekend, we'll be at The Vale. It's bus 46 or 46X to Edgbaston Park Road.

Show of hands who's coming to the Vale?

Spins at Selly Oak I shall be at, providing Mel's spins don't intefere, though I won't be coming to the Vale this weekend.

Looking at my timetable I can now make the Circus Society monday evenings, as long as I have detailed directions on how to get there from New Street onwards

Eccles - dunno. Sunset's at 1830...
I think I'm gonna try and head there for about 1700, but if Hugh's driving I could be up to an hour late!

Keiron - how do you get to Selly Park; bus, train or car?
