anyone up for a lunchtime spin at Aston tomorrow?

i got big presentation tomorrow, so i am not sure i can sneak out. then all depend on the crazy lunchtime hour, but will try

dunno if i'm gonna be able to partly due to the fact that i'll be wrapped up really warm and that means layers! that is a kinda limiting factor on the spinning if u imagine yourself feeling a bit like the michelin man

I won't be, I'm with Edan all day and don't want to take him out into the freezing cold while I play.

i definitely won't be there this sunday...i think winter's winning the battle against my body's ability to take the punishment that is cold...plus i'll be slaughtered tonight won't be able to walk tomorrow i think hehe

Me and Eccles aren't planning on going, i'll check later and see if anyone else wants to. If others do I'll come but I'm not really that bothered.

Yeah, I'm going to a reggae electro clash (!!) thing at The Rainbow tonight so I won't be spinning. Well, I'll probably have a cheeky spin there, but no fire.

I intend to go to the Nuneaton spin on the 10th so this weekend is the last time I'll be in Birmingham for about a month.

Hi everyone i hope no one minds a newbie joining the forum, ive only recently purchased my first set of poi and im looking to meet up with people to help me learn and tell me where im going wrong but im quite worried that if i come to the purple mermaid on mondays that i'll be the only newbie there and people wont be very helpful , is there anyone who can put my mind at ease and inform me if i would be able to come along on mondays?

but if you want to spin with others before Mon, i will go to the Selly oak juggling club (oppsite Aldi) this Sat 10am-12 for a spin. (get in from the back gate, go up, then you can hear lots of people dropping... that is it!)

but there are not many people doing poi there.

hi bdsmbunny, I'm sure you won't have any trouble meeting friendly people to help you to learn, just pluck up the courage to ask nicely and all is good

There's a spinny meet on Sundays in Selly Park but it's a bit cold so the last one was missed, hopefully not the next tho! I should be there Sunday from 5ish onwards and I'm always happy to help where I can, although the dark tends to make it that little bit trickier!

Thanks for the encouragement guys will certainly endeavour to get over Monday coming and try to get over my nerves of spinning in front of people (being a complete novice lol) but I think just being in the environment with people who can help will be really beneficial. No one is gonna mind im not a student at Birmingham uni are they, in a student but at Stoke not Brum will that be a problem?

been getting over a cold that's plagued me for about 2 or 3 weeks now, but unless the circus soc has suddenly ended, i should be there next time.
