I wouldnt mind a burn soon... Ollie, Harry, what are we doing with the photo soc? Are we going to get it done? Are you happy going to pritchats? I have to answer asap so we can see how it goes and get a 2nd session if necessary. Anyone else up for a fire photo session with "experienced" photographers with good equipment?

Wednesday (31st) - we are performing as the half time show for the Birmingham uni vs loughborough hockey match down on the astroturf. I really would like as many people as possible for this, regardless of your abilities. The spin will only be about 8 mins long but all attention will be on us so it'll be good publicity. it'll also be a lot of fun, the floodlights will be turned off and loud music will blare out. Meet in Joe's in the Guild at 6.20pm with the intention of walking to the astroturf at 6.30pm, that'll give us i reckon about 10mins to set up and get ourselves organised. we should be done by 7. the society has a couple of sets of fire poi that can be used, but other than that if you could bring your own equipment that would be just lovely. I should also point out that glow equipment can be used if you'd prefer.

Thursday (1st) - Vale Fireworks. the annual fireworks display down on the Vale, with fairground rides and us firespinning beforehand. this is our big firespin of the year, so you really don't want to miss this. You can either meet in Joe's at 6.30 for a pre-firespin drink before leaving to walk to the Vale at about 7, or alternatively you can just meet us at the Vale at 7.20/7.30ish, depending on how fast we walk.

This saturday we are firespinning at the uni american football event down on Bournbrook pitches (the rugby pitch next to the astroturfs next to the guild).

We would like as many spinners as possible for the half time show.

We don't know how long the game will be.

Alex reckons till about 8-830.

I'm gonna be tied up with coursework until the 16th, but will be free for a spin and a veg burger afterwards!

the moscow state circus are in town, and im gonna go see them on the eve of the 16th....ye can get discounted tickets with those little flyers...why not celebrate end of jons coursework with a trip to the big top and maybe a veggie spin afterwards?
