The Official Liverpool Meet Thread

After Immence pressure from liquid_bubblegum this is now the thread for the Liverpool meets the first of which;

1st October 2005 @ 2 o'clock, meeting at Lime Street Station and then moving over to the pierhead for some nice dockside spinning.

Hopefully followed by a drink and a dance at the Krazyhouse.

Dude Liverpool meet! Awesome, just down the road (well train line)! I'll be there! Wouldn't miss it for the world. I really hope there is a good turn out, hope some of the manchester lot come down. Hope to see you all soon! .

Yeah! I will be there too. Any idea where to go tho? I remember someone suggesting an area near the university? But I thought very shady characters hang around the uni area when the sun goes down?

As for Sefton park i like that idea except its a bit tricky to get people to, we could do with somewhere walkable to from Lime Street................Suggestions??

Maybe during the day behind the Academy near the bookshop blackwells is it?? on the paved area around the cheap pub. its quite big and might be emptyish. Please someone think of somewhere better.

Nearish to blackwells there is a little park between the uni sports centre and sydney jones library that'd be fine i rec if we can't get to sefton park??
It's pretty empty on a weekend

Cool i reckon a general group meeting in Lime street would be a good start then a walk up there, if there aint many of us we could bus it to Sefton park, just see what the general consensous is really

What I would like to know is... Why have the Scousers not come to Manc meets as we would love to see you guys there? Even so, we could have some sort of exchange programme, or a general NW meet?

Well I was going to go to the last Manc meet but I was at Leeds Festival. That's why I wasn't there. I plan on going to the next Manc meet though.

Defo trains, there comfortable and fast and quite and warm. I reackon by bus most of us would have to catch like three different ones.

P.S my LED Poi have arrived!!! ouch they hurt.. I think I better leave them alone till I get better at this milarky!

I have a pair that sting when they hit you, and the plastic ball thing (head?) is easily twice the sixe of other LED poi, makes a good learning curve I must admit!

Aye, no probs there Bubbles! Any1 else? I have a spare room for the ladies amongst us (sleeps 2/3 in the double, and about 5 more in bags on the floor) Any chaps will be welcome in the entertainment centre that is my room... Can sleep about 4 in proper beds, and there will be mattresses...
