That was a suggestion by the way, not an insult

I'm going to a "nothing but wellies" party
and an "AL" party (workers boots and boxer shorts)
all based around 1 strange individuals dressing habits
another is joined at the hip...everyone has to be attached to another for the whole night (can get v. interesting)

at bideford on new years eve there is a massive party. everyone goes to it and everyone dresses up.
you should all go this year (i mean everyone on this site it would be awesome)

Twould be, but im sure a lot of those international HoPpers (i.e, those not in england ) would find the traveling a tad expensive

A circus theme could be fun, and sexual kinks #Considers for amoment# I'm not sure why I thought of sexual kinks right after circus gear, but anyway...
tasteless ornaments, iconic films, did you mean Alice in Wonderland in the Alice's Tea Party bit of the list? Works of Shakespeare, or Python, retro ones focusing on a specific era can be fun and bodypaint.

Alice's tea party came from Alice in wonderland, Yes!

A friend of mine had a "come as you aren't" party where you were to come dressed as something that just wasn't you.

I combed my hair down slick, wore khakis and a polo shirt and strapped my mobile phone to my belt with an ear bud going to my ear like some corporate whore Silicon Valley guy.
