Poi and Art

A friend of mine who i recently started to teach poi has become totally obsessed (just like me)

She is also a fantastic artist. Imagine my head nearly exploding this morning when she posts this picture of me doing a weave on Deviant Art this morning. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/15156012/ Or here

She got it slightly wrong in effect that my hands are turned over in the wrong position, but generally she must have been watching me very closely cause the pose and arm position are very accurate.

I think we need more people drawing poi spinners. it makes for good art.

Oh and by the way, i am not really a human/Ocelot Hybrid. its just her cute style of drawing

awww...those are so cute. I really like the second one. You are very lucky to be blessed with such a friend. I'd make sure to keep a copy of every single one of them to give you smiles for many years to come.

they are both damn good drawings, and more art withing poi and spinning arts would be nice, but unless you sit there and take the time to study someone poi-ing, then you wont be able to get the posture or anything right, unless you're really lucky

but still, they're mint drawings

u have inspired me to draw fire twirling stuff that is a very cool idea and yes more ppl need to do it.

and i think this girl may hav a thing for u why els would u draw some 1 u know he he.....

This little kitten spun fire for the first time last night
I am very proud of myself, i will remember it for the rest of my life
and i only nearly set myself on fire twice
its a little unnerving when the flaming fire head hits your t-shirt.
especially when no-one at our local fire tribe seems to be in charge of safety. i think i will take on the role.

Mr DoktorSkell, if you set up your base in america, then abandon it as bush says he's going to drop a bomb, then you could potentially get rid of the white house and its contents :locl: (in need of evil grin graemlin to insert here)

I did a pic of amberina last year for a digital project, cant find it though but it twas purdy.
