i met dave at the adelaide fringe this week and wow did i learn massive amounts of new contact tricks. so im sitting here with a ton of amazing contact footage from the past week and dave is totally happy for me to post it so im just give a prepost saying that in the next few days to a week there will be a new contact video with some awesome footage finding its way to the web

*edited*
The first video and second video are now online and kindly being hosted at www.soton-firespinning.co.uk. ive spent a fair bit of time editing n refining them and i like know how many ppl have downloaded them (kinda makes all the effort worthwhile) so can i ask that people dont mirror the videos so that all the hits get counted cheers

whoop!

mr knoxious truly has some stix-kno-huow
and the bastard does a much better monkey impression than me

his contact stuff is always lovely, but not as good as his spinny spinning which spins most spinnily. That is the stuff i like best.

Although if this video includes lycra leotards and macho posing to camera then a warning may be suitable

Note: Bearing in mind the explainations were for Mr. Ja-men's benifit they may not make sense to all... or be HOPC but hey-feckit! I'm sure some heads will get switched on from it, that's all that counts...

*edited* see post below for the link *end edited*

*note its a 45 meg download and a 6 min vid*

ive almost finished the second one which has lots of doubles staff with some lovely upclose cross stuff so if like me u never had a clue as to how to hold it u can see how its done, just have to find some more mooosic for the sound track

Ok, so I've got it to work cool.

What can I say.
If you spin staff, I reckon this is very likely to become one of your new most favorite videos.

The 2 hand (2 wrist) stuff near the beginning is awsum
and as smooth as it gets.
As far as I know this is something- a whole range of moves that daves invented and developed over the last couple of years.
Got me convinced, they're superb.
and looks like you got those fishtail 360 carries sorted too

Loads ad loads of contact goodness
much smoothness, and praise be to the lord, a video of someone who actually Dances and dances good, while twirling, see the funky fire footage.

and theres some new ideas dave been playing with there. WOW cheaky.
and a quick shot of the man Josh in the background tooo

9.8 out of 10
(despite freddy murcury )

Dave's as good as it gets with a stick and still getting better.
Nice one, and massive thanks benjamin for making to video,
if we can't have THE man in london, at least we can have the videos.
nice one
all good

Drew

How'd you get it to work? I tried to download it and it was a HTM file, instead of AVI. meaning it opened a webpage when i double clicked it after download, instead of a video.

Lovely smooth style, lots of ideas to play around with, effort less execution of contact moves. All in all I like
