Ball Chain...What connects ball chain to quick links

This is is folks....the final trivia question.....

What connects the ball chain to the quick links? Whoever can answer gets a hug.

(I've seen ball chain connectors in my local hardware mart but they look flimsy...as well as the ball chain itself..gonna make a trip to the big city to look for better goods. Is there such thing as this ball chain connector that is super strong and heavy duty? Am I on the right track?)

I swear by those little dudes.. so easy to use - but for goodness sake don't tighten them up with your teeth! I've got a pair of plyers now..

they are called "type A" connectors.

Yes pliers are the way to go, your teeth may be able to exert enough pressure but they ain't made of metal
