Doc Lightning HOP Mad Doctor Registered: 28/05/01 Loc: San Francisco, CA	And so I'm home. And I'm post-call. And that was the last call I ever have to take. I still remember my first call, the night I first saw a baby born. It was so exciting. And then it became painful. And then it just made me mad, and tired, and unhealthy. And it's over. And I never have to do it again, I hope. So now I have to go into work on Monday. And turn in my ID and a self-addressed, stamped envelope for my last paycheck (how's THAT for an insult?). Do my last clinic. And... It's over. I'm done. I'm a real, friggin' physician. And then I went back to the PICU and was unable to get in because the door was locked. So I grabbed my ID (well, the empty holder) and tapped it against the RFID pad. Needless to say, nothing happened because I forgot my ID wasn't in it. So someone else had to let me in. You also have to tap your parking pass against a contact plate to get out of the parking lot. I don't have the pass. So getting out of the parking lot today will also be fun.
