Does anyone know of any instructional materials on Samoan Fireknife dancing? I've been doing fireknife for a few years and the only thing I've been able to find is this:

I have done some yoyo but never really got into 2A

I have a couple of looping yoyo's and can do a couple of tricks with each hand but as I was more a juggler and staffer I never really went for the 2A yoyoing. I was more 1A

Like you say I have seen some really nice stuff with 2A which mirrors poi. like hyperloops / air wraps which look awesome with yoyo's like the B*stard child of Diabolo and poi :)

A less messy method for shaking off excess fuel for fire eating?

The best thing I've found is to have two aluminum bottles, one with fuel one without. I dip my wands into the one with fuel, then put the heads into the second one spin my wands between my hands like a staff spin-off, warming my hands, rolling dreadlocks, rinsing chopsticks, or charging that little helicopter/propeller toy.
You can even fill the time with short jokes about not being warm enough, this can has more awesome in it, using your wands as chopsticks to take invisible stuff out, or pret

The same for most fire tools that don't 'spin', a good grip and couple strong forceful arcs toward the ground. Think slashing the ground with a sword.

I've seen a lot kind of like those. You can make them with a pair of cotton gloves, 14 gauge wire, an old T-shirt and cotton thread for very cheap. On stage no on could tell the difference.
I could tell you exactly how, but I'm sure you could figure it out yourself. It's basically twisting wire onto the gloves and then sewing on a wick.

They will feel like that at first. I made crappy ones and used the finger protectors you can buy on trick concepts. I need a set of fingers built into gloves but can't find anyone who will make them for a cheap price

			Hey guys
There are not that many videos of its use as there are currently only two in existence. And you know how it goes when burning. You may have the best spin of your life and nobody pulled out the camera. I just updated the page with new rewards and need to get to a pc today to add some new photos. Just cant do everything from a phone.
And i know the pledge to reward pricing may seem high but thats cause shipping needs to be included in all rewards. Wierd format but than

Make your own. It'll work out cheaper, and you'll know how it's constructed should it need repairs.
Thing is, fire katanas are just as similar to actual katanas as to european broad swords. Therefore, you may as well just try using european sword techniques with the katana fire swords (admittedly quite a few techniques such as half swording http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Half-sword won't work without some preparation i.e. welders gloves?)
