Posted: so i was saying in that four poi yikes discussion that i occasionaly tie two staff together and spin like a cross although this is a little intimidating at first the effect is awsome all that you need is two short staff and a two foot strip of bike inertube now you really need to reem on that tube as you bind the two together so that you dont have to worry about slipping while spinning (this could be quite painfull)jessejamesps pele im in kingston

Posted: I like how easy your solution is (ie bike tire), but I'm not sure that I'd be too into the elasticity and give of using that binding. my cross has a core of welded copper piping with four lengths of dowling screwed into it. it is pretty permanent and a little tricky to transport, but is sweet to spin.
