Awww, this makes me sad! For years (at least 4 years...) there was a regular meet in Guildford, which I vaguely helped in running, though it was never really official, just a gather. Gu...
4th March, 2008 Pretty bright varied with a couple of but's... "The glow staff market has been in need of a good middle-ground make for a while now the choice previously being low-end dull single-colour options or uber-expensive overly-complicated professtional models. This one fits nicely in the middle. Bright enough and with enough strobe patterns for professional shows but cheap(ish) and user-friendly enough for taaking to the weekly spin-meet. I especially like the way each end is set individually so you can have different effects/colours each end. It's not a bad weight perhaps a little too light for serious contact work but lots of grip and definitely work-able. The only negatives I'd say were: A) It runs off AAA batteries. The ones supplied are rechargeable but personally i prefer wall-charging internal batteries. B) It's a little bendy. Short-term I don't know how this affects overall strength but for contact it can skip around a bit - this can be countered with solid technique though. Summary: A good looking usuable glow staff!"
