"socks do the job of these fluffy little guys but they dont look half as good i bought a pair for myself and a pair for a friend who has been a great help in my initiation into fire everyone loves them and asks where i got them from they are so cute and cuddly and protect your clothes from those annoying black marks while practicing while giving you something to look at. they could only be improved as my six year old suggested with some goggly eyes....they are great fluffy friends for my fire poi"

Great for my staff too big for my Mura poi heads
"I love these they fit my staff perfectly. Nice look feel and you can tell the insides will protect clothing and other items from excess fuel residual that may be left over on the wicks. I just wish they also fit my poi heads but they are too long for a proper fit. They still work fine but would be easier to practice with if it fit the Mura heads better. A small size would be helpful for the rolled and 2 inch fire heads. Other than that very nice and I love the yellow ones on the Mistletoe Staff (It looks really awesome together!)"

"I just got my pair of medium fluffy fire head covers! I like them they are awesome! But they are a bit smaller then I expected. They would not fit my catherdral wicks. I suggest only getting medium size for regualar size weka heads. But its all good! I just got creative and made a cut and snip here added some fabric there and now they fit. I love how they make my poi spin. They slow them down so its GREAT for practice! And my isolations have never looked so....isolated? Its a sweet product! Just keep in mind they are smaller then you might think! :)"

"I purchased them to cover my juggling torches not a staff. But since the measurments are given i gave it a try and am very pleased. Since i have a fire poi head cover i knew how preferable it is to have them. You can use your fire equipment anytime for practice without bothering about the soot / ash / black stuff being smeared everywhere. i put them on the firehead although it wasn't cooled down entirely and it doesn't seem to be too critical. i can only recommend them."

Fluffy wick covers have many benefits
"I love these wick covers. They fit my Firetoys Fibre III fire staff wicks (80mm width x 80cm wrap) exactly right they seem tight at first but soon settle in to fit perfectly no wasted space at all. They also work well with my Fyrefli staffs accomodating 120mm width wicks easily. The fluffiness creates drag which nicely matches the effect of fire on slowing down the staff for realistic practice without fire. Also these wick covers take the sting out've impacts when practicing nice protection from wick bolts or screws. The white wick covers are quite visible at night which is real bonus when practicing throws and catches. Finally I think they make staffs look more friendly when practicing or carrying them in public. Essentially a really good piece of kit I use these or the large (poi) size on all my fire props."
