"I bought the double helix, because more is better, right? But the kinesiology isn't right for me... I like a double wrap on pointer and middle. That's just ME. I can tell that it would be a nice hold if that's YOUR jam. But now I have backups. Nice. I'm just learning, and my plane control sucks. That means I smash my poi together ALL the time. Sometimes I really SMASH them. I haven't managed to break these yet. A month of use, an hour a day. Lots of collisions leave me wondering HOW I haven't broken them. The cord they use is really nice. I kinda want to fill a ball pit with it, and live there. I make jewelry quality chainmaille, and I made 2 different styles of chain so I could replace the cord they're sent with. I'm keeping the cord they were sent with. The only thing I don't like entirely is the weight. They're a little light. For me. But the design of the silicone sleeve allowed me to pop a wee bit of ballast right out at the end, and I dialed them in for my feel. Will buy again. When I DO manage to finally break them, but that seems like it's gonna be a while."
