Personally I can't wait... and may end up at Waterstones at Midnight on Friday.

My prediction is that Dumbledore will die.

Magnus... pay it forward

Um hasn't Robbie Coltrane already said he won't be doing any more movies and hinted his character would be killed off! Mebbe

Kill em all I say, die Hermione die (evil cackle)

Just joking, I'm just a saddo looking forward to the next installment

( I edited another for 'a' as I did not want to cause anyone else looking forward to the new book offence )

Come faeries, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind and dance upon the mountains like a flame.

the wonders of kazaa. Numerous times have i spent days downloading new film releases to find french dubbed made for tv films instead. These days i open the partial files with an appropriate program during the download (ie virtual dub for divx, zipfix for zips) to check whether i'm downloading the real thing or not.

Surely the chances are that you've downloaded fan fiction - something written by a fan, not J.K. Rowling.

If it were the same document they send to the printers, it could be pretty big...if it's just a word or text doc, I'd say probably no more than 4-5 megs!

Hmm, how long did book 5 take to write?

I'm thinking that if I start as soon as I've read that one, I can start writing my own version of book 6 and have copies ready to stick the proper cover on and pass off as the proper book just before it's released.
Make it a semi reasonable story and people might be taken in for long enough to run away with all the money you've made from selling them mail order

Obviously my complete lack of writing talent stops me doing this

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

from what I've read writing talent has little to do with it
