Click me

From those of you who own a copy of The Wizard of Oz and Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" album.

smile

I would be interested in seeing the results if anyone has both.

We finally did this a few months back... loads and loads of it fits brilliantly.

The Floyd deny it being on purpose... I think it has something to do with them subconsciously growing up with the film or whatever...

Very cool and weird. Actually really quite moving when you watch it, with the sadder parts of the album etc. Us and Them fits best, with the Oz visuals it's actually really amazing

And no I wasn't stoned tongue

What a wonderful miracle if only we could look through each other's eyes for an instant.

I'd never thought you could accociate Pink Floyd with Wizard of Oz. Although I suppose if you were going to try then Dark Side of the Moon would be your best bet. Not sure how the other Pink Floyd albums would fit but they've done a pretty good job of matching that one...

Interesing...is all I'll say..

I did have a copy of the Wizard of Oz taped years ago when I was a nipper but don't have it anymore. I'm not sure if its worth buying the DVD just to do this...

Now I'm waiting for someone to make an album that plays over 'Return to Oz'

(Although Scissor Scissors did do a lovely Pink Floyd-esque song called 'Return to Oz' with direct references to that film - makes me forgive them for 'Comfortably Numb' which I have now grown to like and play to spin to at times)

Yep did it aswell......

some of it fits perfectly...some parts suprisingly well,others parts fairly loosely connected.

But i guess its easy to find connections if you´re trying hard enough!

The oart with Us and Them is done really well;
