Interesting.
If I'd posted a quote explaining how ALL women were "walking abortions" and not worth the dirt they stand on I'd be shot down and the post would be locked/deleted before the flaming wreckage hit the ground...
Plus the quote shows complete lack of understanding for genetics. Hell, all fetuses start physically female - it's only exposer to testosterone that cause it to develop into a male. If a male fetus does not respond to testosterone then it will develop into a physical female. I could argue that females are the "base model" and males were something special.
I'm a "male-feminist". The idea that you can show sexism just because it's towards a man is utterly wrong. There's a difference between a comment in light humour and describing all men as "walking abortions".
Give me a lever long enough and a place to stand and I can beat the world into submission.

@TGITB: So you may consider changing the subject as [Old link] is a thread for aphorisms/ respectively quotes already
maybe you think about changing your into: "is blatant sexism towards men considered an appropriate response to their misbehaviour?"
As to your quote: this could also be interpreted that a) life is possible without that one more chromosome women hold or b) the difference between being able to set a seed and to bare and breed it is defined with ONE chromosome only... WOW!!!
which to me is one humbling thought... as is the thought that women are able to carry and bring life into this world... to me it's just humbling...
or to get even further - just letting my mind rumble now - every man has a mother (sometimes even more so than a dad)...
and now I really cannot get the idea how men can behave disrespectful to women... to me this means as much as behaving disrespectful to my very own mother... (a rather philosophical approach to femalehood...) and to the potential mother of my children...

I'm interested in why you chose to post this quote, especially when there must be about a 50:50 ratio of male to female on this site and with around 30,000 members, thats a lot of guys!
