hello,

most of them do not exist in english yet as we need someone to describe the move in english. we are no native speakers and translating is rather worse than a description from someone who knows english wink

help is welcome, SAM

sice, the HoP lessons are animated gifs, not flash animations - they are more accessible to users by merit that they don't require a flash plugin download!

and stuff.

I personally found that the gifs were a bit small in size so I saved it then put it into windows movie maker and saved as a video file. that way I could see what they were doing more clearly and even control the speed that it was playing.

now there are quicklinks.
for example to get to the 7b Hyperloop just put the 1081 in the Tutorials Quicklink Box and press enter. So every move (now more then 1000 together!) has an unique id-number, so people can discuss and find moves easy in other forums.

bye sam

Feurshow would you be able to put text boxes in under the tutorials that need instructions in english so people could wright in the desription if they knew it?

im not good with html but my webmaster thinks im crazy anyway...

so we thought the best solution for this problem is to write the english instruction in the international part of our forum right at the top of the forum (in the international part no register is needed). just the name or the quick number id an the text in english. we will copy it after in the admintool so everybody can see it.

would be superb if some guys start the describing wink

I dont know who made the names for moves in clips, but some of them are very discuttable(mostly talking about Poi) so I would more like to see propper sorting. The moves are mixed. Put it into move and fundamental families and than we can talk about descriptions. I can help you to sort them out, you can contact me.

You can compare the staff moves with Megs Basic contact tutorial too.

Hello,

the names gérald did, he also asked therefor here in the hop forum, but of course we always welcome improvements in the names, so they are better understood everywhere!

The sorting is the next step. Since 3 days our webmaster managed that we can change the moves between different categories. So right now we are thinking of new categories, so that there are no more than 25-30 moves in each categorie.

Gerald will contact you soon therefore, thanks!

jabadabaduuu! Sandy started the english descriptions yesterday, i put them online already.

SHAME ON ME!

i guess i am to blame for the funny names especially in the poi section and not gerald.
he is very good with nomenclature and usually waited for HOP correspondence before he named the moves whereas i just tried to make up more descriptive names with the little knowledge i have (sorry, i never looked at any posts on new moves - i learned through exploring by myself or seeing them from others).

i've spoken to gerald and he will take care of. i'm sure he is the better choice and will do a great job!

sorry for confusing, thanks for understanding

cheers!

ps: thx for recommending wink

Perfect idea, we just found the solution, it is online now as you said.

SO NOW ENGLISH DESCRIPTIONS ARE EASY - just write the text in the textbox of the move. we check it and set it online after wink

also poi moves are sorted new now, there are 13 categories.

@eek: ich hab deine mail jetzt lieber mal nicht öffentlich angegeben, hoffe das passt so. Grüsse!!!

Have fun, SAM
