say what?? mittatoub? is that a place? Do you mean Mittagong?

I live in Sydney - about a 10 minute drive out of the heart of the city. It's on the East Coast of the country in the state of New South Wales.

PM me or catch me on my email if you have any more questions for me....

Heya, I live about 15 minutes from Sydney itself, so not really near Mittagong. Mittagong is further south from Sydney, and a little bit inland. I haven't been there properly, but I know it is near Bowral. Bowral is quite a pretty place.

i'll ask about Bowral
SHane said Bondi was a beach.
He also says "Surrey" is pronouced "sorry" only not the american way, (american english is too harsh) and that we all pronouce bloke like utight pommies.
Shane is cool enough i don't think i'd like him if he was here all the time though, not my type of person, si?

ahhhh well, when does the next thing at mystic web start bender?

Mittagong, eh? I know some about that place.

I guess it's a "country town" kinda vibe there. It's located about 1.5hrs south west of Sydney and consists of many hobby farms and horse riding places!

Nice scenery, quaint buildings, some arsehole locals. It's a bit isolated from the city, thus the small town attitude that many of the older inhabitants seem to posess. Lots of the kids from around that area are sent to boarding school cos the educational standard of many of the local schools isn't that high... Although I do believe there are a few good schools down there. I'm sure your friend is cool - I find that most people who are willing to pack their bags and jump on a plane generally posess a more worldly attitude than that which is typical of a small town.

As Sydney's urban sprawl continues to spread across our hinterland, many places like Mittagong are being eaten up and becoming yet another outer Sydney suburb.

Bondi is a famous beach, but also the town surrounding that beach is known as bondi. It is inhabited by backpackers from the UK & NZ.

How were you pronouncing Surrey? And how do you say bloke like an uptight pom?

I said Surrey "Sir-ree" rather than how he says it which is a very soft version of "sorry" can't do a phonetic spelling an i need to...

and i have no idea whats wrong with teh way i say bloke. i cna hear that he says it differently, but not sure why i say it british?

thx for teh amusement btw.

I think it is kinda like "suh-ree", very short soft sound on the "suh".

As to bloke like an uptight pom Sounds like he is overdoing the ocker aussie impersonation just a tad
