Lol, IF I go (and that depends entirely on how I would get there from Edinburgh), I won't be bringing anything exciting... so you can film me practising CJ, if you wish. biggrin

It may be horrendously boring after about 30 seconds... but you know, just if you get bored of the cows tongue

My mum has offered to drive me but I feel bad getting her to drive the 400 mile round trip from hers, to mine, to falmouth and back!

It would be super lovely to meet up with some HoPpers on the way. I don't want to turn up on my own at falmouth station and have no idea where to go from there! biggrin

ok.

-i'm coming, i'll end up teaching something i suppose,

-i'm sleeping in the cutie pie's tent (don't know who that is yet) cause i won't have one with me (a tent, not a cutie),

-and i wanna give vixen her birthday spankings please.

are there trees in this falmouth place or is it a bare beach?
i really wanna make a joke about "bare beach' NOT meaning "naked mean girl" but i guess a statement will suffice

.:star:. There will be at least two cars passing through Taunton on the way from Worcestershire. Jon (*Hyperlights) has already mentioned that he's happy to stop off on the way, and there also might be space in my sisters new beetle for one more. We're thinking of heading down pretty early though, maybe in the afternoon on the 20th.

Message for anyone thinking about getting the train, the Hoppers coming from London by train are getting the 12:05 from London Paddington, Im not sure if it stops at Taunton, i think it may, it goes all the way to Truro and we change there and go to Falmouth Town from there, tickets can be bought at www.thetrainline.com, if you are under 26 I would heavily suggest getting a young persons railcard which will cost 20 quid will save you a lot of money on the train (about a third off). the main places the train stops off at is reading and exeter st davids so anyone wishing to get the train and either of those are closer hop on at that stop and give one of us a call to find where we are the train isnt that long (and goes all the way to the end wink - private joke).,

A note to all you electrical gadgety people, im as techy as they come but im heavily resisting taking stuff to falmouth, im bringing my aerotechs, phone and maybe ipod but doubt the latter, i understand as much as anyone that we all wanna be thinking yeh lets get our UV canons and electrical cookers and stereos, but guys, we can do that anytime, at any meets, I semi feel that all this tech stuff could take away the spirit of the event, in the end I find falmouth works best and really takes you away from any crap at home etc when you wake up out of your tent in cornwall and are surrounded just by your friends and a cup of tea, we can go to the beach when we want, do whatever, lets not all worry about whether we can rig up a big UV canon, or worry whether we can rig up a big plasma screen to catch neighbours wink

Trust me when we get there you wont bother with this electricity malarkey, the only return to civilisation you'll want is ASDA fry ups biggrin

I going to see if I can get my train to coincide with your arrangements at Exeter as I would prefer to travel with people (even if it is only for the last two hours of the 6 hour slog)
May be useful to exchange reservation info to make it easier to find people if reservations have been made.
