you can do hearts in a lot of ways.
you can paint them (with a brush)
you can type them (with the comp. <3 )
you can describe them (with words)
you can poi them (with poi of course!)

with one poi.
do a big ciclre clockwise.
when the poi is at its highest point; isolate 3/4 so it makes a tiny little circle inside the big circle. then continue with the big circle.
repeat.

form the big circle more like an ellipse like 0 insted of O to not get a "fat" heart.

somebody have done it before? (i wouldn't be surprised)

nah, what's 'new' anyway? wink

just get really good at these dude smile

whereas with clubs, heart-shaped circles are presented as the most fundamental swing, they are far from natural with poi and, as you say, require a nice little taking the weight off type twiddle at the tops.

and with that skill, you can do sideways and upsidedown hearts, which are pretty tricky if you try to do it with clubs...

I really like heart shaped circles smile

There's a picture of me doing one with a single poi in *robyn*'s gallery.
I prefer doing them with clubs though.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Actually, I think the 'circle' on the left side of the photo is what we're talking about... Small radius on top, larger towards the bottom.

Two simultaneous butterfly clothoids = heart biggrin
