In response to great demand. Here is a video of the double matrix:

https://olithejuggler.tripod.com/Mediapage.htm

try that link, then click on the video called Rob's Double matrix. I took this when bluecat was still ill, but it seems everyone is too keen to wait for a perfect video - so this will do in the mean time.

For anyone who is interested, there are also a couple of videos here of mcp with two staffs, and a sneaky vid of mo-seph's glow staff.... have fun!

Well i guess if you can call it that........

Maybe "easy" wasnt the right choice of words wink

The Andre one passes under shoulder, over back under shoulder where as the "not so easy one" does a rotation around the neck as well smile

Megs matrix vid explains perfectly smile

i can proudly announce i have no idea what a 'snes' is.
so i don't know.

and it doesnt pass through crosses, it changes from 1:1 to 2:1 for a couple of beats.

but yes *sigh* it is the easy one (hence pointing it out in the post above..)

off to practise...

ehm, this summer I saw an australian guy in barcelona do a matrix with 3 staffs...
as far as I can remember he did a matrix with one staff, spinning the second staff around his body while holding it and a third one just spinning loosely somewhere on his body...
he was with a group that just came from the EJC, 4 ozzies: 2 fellas, 2 sheilas ( wink ) wearing bowler hats and smelling like paraffin... if I search long enough I might find an email address of one of them to ask for a video?

Hey Eric hug
Yeah lol Bowler hats & Parafin odours that would have been none other then the short lived Mashy Mashy Boom Boom. MMBB was Ivan & Alice from Melbourne, an Amberina from London, and myself. We just met eachother at the EJC and ended up on a busking tour together for the summer. Lovley and talented people. Eric did we meet you at that weeklong street Fiesta in Barcelona or am I just confused confused.
I'm afraid there is not really any video stuff just now for MMBB, if Ivan & Alice and I can get together at some point that might change. I am trying to chase down the footage from last years Budapest JC of a show Alice and I did there.
winkNot sure if there will be any triple Matrixs on it though...
