Accomodation: Tregedna Farm Campsite (the other one for those of you who attended Falmouth 1 or 2)

Duration: Thursday evening - Sunday evening

Attractions: A beautiful beach, (hopefully) glorious weather, a big feckin fire, more beer and smoke than you can shake several large sticks at, and a bunch of lunatics playing with fire.

Throw in a few workshops, the obligatory 8 mile hike, and yer talkin' heaven.

For those who have not attended a Falmouth event before, there are videos of the last two here and here.

This may well be the only Falmouth event this year, as us Cornish types will all be going to the Play Festival in August - and recommend that you do too!

hmmm... was just wondering if I could get someone helpful to suggest all the things that are necessary to bring to Falmouth cos I haven't been before...
so far I'm thinking:
Campsite space
Tent
warm clothes - given the current trend in the weather
sleeping bag
lots to smoke
lots to drink
food
as much juggling/circus skill equipment as you can carry
lots of paraffin
fancy dress
at least 5 lighters - cos they always dissappear (never know whereconfused )

any other suggestions...?

I reckon if you get two lighters and a piece of string, you could duck tape a lighter onto each end of the string, then thread it through your coat like mittens.
Unless you get bored and pull it out to use as a meteor, they'll always be on hand biggrin

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

hmmmm..... good idea. Might tangle me up with the poi though... probably better than those lighters you get on a piece of string to go round your neck. Then again, if you have to lend one each to two different people you might end up with yur arms stuck out either side of you....or if they both try to light up at the same time could be a problem...plus, i probably would try and use it as a meteor and then i'd never see it again (thinks: reports of strange lighters flying uncontrollably thru the sky)

Some method of cooking might be an idea.

I'll be bringing a small stove if I can fit it into my bag, but I don't know how much gas I have left, or have any pans.

Hey hey , Thanks for the offer SDLW I will have to say 'yes please' Thanks....I'll take the ... eh space on the roof by the looks of things wink

Am quite looking forward to this, should be quite an adventure . . A 3/4 hour drive with some people I haven't met, then a whole weekend of loonacy

As for windswept man , I'll have to grow my hair till then if it'll keep the ladies happy... tho it still won't be that long...

Also on the fancy dress front. . . i'll have to have a dig around in the fabcy dress cupboard
