Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

It's frantic, but it's there - 15 catches of 5-ball half shower. biggrin

I'm also getting the hang of multiplexes. Woop. I don't actually know multiplexy siteswap though, so I can't tell you what I can do, but it makes me happy and that's all you need to know. *beams*

I can't really see the point in doing d (and/or) b 97531 with 7 or 6 because when i've seen other people do it you can't really recognise that all the balls are peaking at the same time.

Aye, but if you become good enough, you can make it happen!

after ages of thinking about it, 4 club doubles fountain finally started to work at the weekend.

i also caught a 53 out of it and back in but i think that was more luck than an actual ability to do it.

everytime i come in here everyone sounds sicker and sicker.... funny that innit? umm

on the old 3b backcross thing, i've managed some fairly consistent runs of 5 t/c's this evening which feels like a huge step forward. probably be at least another year before i improve on that but it's at least given me hope i might get as many as 10 one day...

four clubs is gradually improving after some good practice at bristol but not sure i've reached the dizzy heights of 53 just yet. more like 23....

an i'm also happy to report that i can do front to back crosses/penguins now which is nice.

back to bristol this weekend should help things along a bit more! juggle biggrin

theres two types, normall and wallplane, normall is pretty easy, its just the same as balls, but its not really as pretty as wallplane, but to do that you have to learn chops and take-outs first, then you combine them to make the mm.

so, get into chops and take-outs, they are good beggining moves anyway.

confused that not how i learnt it. confused I would say learn wall plane cassade (clockwise) and reverse cassade (anit clockwise) then put them togetget in mills

but would agree the normal mills with clubs is exactly the same as ball apart from they spin

anyhow just got afew new 4b muiltplexes am quite pleased with and 4b mills variations coming on nicely biggrin

Maybe I should change this too something abit nicer, humm no I still think your all Ccensoredt

Me and SinJax have been passing again. biggrin

Solid 3 count - we can pretty much go indefinitely now.
3 count with one person throwing all crossing doubles - this is soooo nice biggrin
2 count, and changing to the other side mid-juggle.
All kinds of doubles in 4 count.
And we have done about 10 catches of ultimates but my god it's weird smile

I did 4 count (I think) club passing today! I sucked, only managed 2 passes then everything went wrong.

... also managed to throw 5 clubs straight into the air, in a cascade pattern, for the first time ever! They usually go in front/behind/sideways :\

I also acquired my glow juggling balls today, after a 4/5 month wait!

I'm happy that I've just learned a bunch of diabolo stuff lately. smile

Can get 2-diabolo shuffle going and can throw one up and go back into it. Still need to work on correcting bad tilts and such.

Also learned infinite suicide and mini-genocide! I feel like I'm on a roll now...

Also just bought an Aquarius yo-yo to beef up on my offstring style yoing (can cross-pollinate with the diabolo too..).

Not too much going on for the throw juggling front. Still working on getting 5 more consistant. Need to learn more three and four ball tricks too...

just got back from bristol and have learnt lots of new stuff smile

3 balls, i learnt burkes, woo!

i dont know siteswaps for multiplexes so i'll just say i learnt some.

I got mills with 4 balls and multiplexes, each different throw as a multiplex (multiplexing the U-ball first, then the carry ball etc.) and i got mills with split multiplexes, not sure how to explain but 2bags showed me, and showed me a few other nice 4ball multiplex patterns smile

very happy with my weekend of learning biggrin

I learnt the pattern known as the "weave" today. Once you've learnt Burkes, this should take seconds to learn.

https://www.jugglingdb.com/jugglewiki/index.php/Weave

Took me all of 2 minutes to learn this morning, and it looks lovely with my new glowballs. smile:)

throw throw throw throw catch throw catch throw catch etc....

or you could try 3 ball flashes, snakes (3 from one hand across to the other and back etc..), and four in a 5 ball pattern by starting with 2 in each hand or 3 in one hand and 1 in the other (throwing after the second ball from the hand with 3). hope that helps!

although i ended up doing more spinning than juggling this weekend my 4 clubs is getting better as i've just bought 5 spankin new pirouettes to play with. could be a while before i find a way to use all 5 at once though....

throw five a lot, i been told the other excercises, like snake and stuff, but i could only really do them after i could do a bit of five. Throw five a lot and have patience, took me a year from my first 5 ball flash to my first 100 catches....

my new trick!!!!

catch ball on foot, flick it up, catch on foot again!

now to lear the other foot....

I found the advice regarding 3 ball flash (+clap), snake, and all those 5551, 552 four ball patterns useless for learning five.

A method to help your "base pattern" would be to throw a flash, 10 times. Followed by 7 catches, 10 times, followed by 9 ten times, then 11, 13, 15, 17 etc. It worked for me. :\

... but if you drop, you have to start the set all again.
