What I would like from you please is just one piece of advice.
It can be on any subject you choose,
serious or fun.
Poi, staff and juggling or life, love and happiness.

Here is my request from everyone on HOP, especially every single one of you lovely HOPpers that I've ever met.

I know that this is very difficult as I've been scratching my head trying to answer it for a week,so.

Big Thankyou

Drew

Whats with today....today.

My words to live by have become
"Everyone is right at their own level of understanding"
Living by this gives me so much room to stop and understand where other people are coming from instead of rushing off on my ego based bullshit and not listening...(I have been known to be quite stubborn)
My fav quote is
"Sometimes you meet a person who touches your heart and your soul, and all at once you realise that you are in the presence of a wingless angel"
My twirling advice...As often as you can.. remembering that you do have to stop for sleep sometimes..

TAJ "boat mummy." VALURA "yes sweetie you went on a boat, was daddy there with you?" TAJ "no, but monkey on boat" VALURA "well then sweetie, Daddy WAS there with you"

This is one of the many quotes that was written on the wall of my kitchen during our last party...

"Learn like you will live forever,
Live like you will die tomorrow."

A piece of advice that I learned from that party...drunk people and tempra paint don't always mix...(the walls look great, the floor does not.)

Life is serious, but art is fun!

life will not be found by asking others. time shouldn't be spent asking for the answers, only searching for them. learning is only achieved through personal exploration and hardship. those who dont earn knowledge will never respect it enough to remember it.

you can't have a war against terrorism because war IS terrorism.it's not about worshipping fire. its about making the fire want to worship you.

Hearing her say with totally peaceful face, her arms outstetched amid the dim that has affected me soo much! I listen to that song 3-4 times a workday! One of my interpretations of it is that it's Lou's way of telling us that happiness is obtainable if we let it in.

Its a bit long winded, but by answering another thread, I think I've found my advice:
quote:
Originally posted by Spiral:
I don't see nationalities. I see individuals. I'm not English, or Brittish, I am a child of Gaia, the descendant of my ancestors, one face of the collective consciousness. And whilst I may have big problems with capitalist society, and political authority, just because some one lives in a country who's foreign policy is detremental to human society and welfare, doesn't make everybody that lives there agree with them. I think the problem with the west is that alot of people believe they live in a democracy, when in fact they live in an elected dictatorship. Don't waste energy overtly combatting the system. Live life by your rules, and yours alone. The real front line is in your head. Sure you have to pay taxes which by guns, which kill people. But what use are you going to be serving time for tax evasion? Take the parts that make sense and use them. Ignore the bits that dont. Learn to accept that differences in appearance, culture, and opinion is what makes this world a fascinating place to live. Respect everyone who is worthy of, or returns that respect no metter how much you disagree. Make people around you happy, as their happiness wil make you happy in return, as it is far easier to be happy in a room full of happy people. And for those you cant cheer up or respect? Respect them and leave them to it, try and make sure your paths dont cross often. Sometimes however it is necessary to raise your voice, or your fist. Just say or do what is nessecary and leave it at that. Dont draw it out longer than needed. Protect those who need protecting, and help those who need it too, with no thought of personal reward, other than that of the knowledge that in so doing, you have made the world a nicer place to live.

These are my words, and my opinions. They are not necesarilly right, or wrong. But some people might share them.

be safe and be happy

The only thing I'd like to add to that, in the words of the immortal Bill S. Preston Esq. and Ted Theodore Logan
'Be excellent to each other!'
