There are 25 deaths that are under investigation. If someone murdered a prisoner, I'm not sure if they'd be subject to execution or not.

VT, the MP's in that prison were in the army, not the marines, according to CNN, and the folks who testified.

Hey Cole,

I'd just like to point out that VT wasn't clear whether he meant the military thought Iraqis "had it coming". He may have meant the Army thought this execution had been on the cards for the Marines, given recent events. Not necessarily in a kind of rivalry, but maybe in genuine concern for their fellow soldiers.

This issue has really got my blood boiling.

If the countries that have gone into iraq to 'liberate' its people, how in gods' name can they justify what they have done?

I dont think you can justifying torturing another human being - ever.

I am very saddened by the humiliation people have had to suffer on both sides of the stupid 'war' - it is not right.

i don't think i misread - i was very careful and checked that i wasn't jumping to conclusions.

this quote from vt a few posts before the one i quoted is pretty unambiguous i think:

Quote:
That's just it, they don't feel bad. They feel the iraqi's got what they had comeing to them.

'they' refers to the soldiers that abused the iraqi's, as mentioned in robotface's post, that the above quote is a reply to.
