Hey hey!!

So, I applied for a scholarship just before christmas. The time they said they'd call back came and passed... So, I was angry (can ya blame me?)

So, I then found out that I was onthe "waiting list" for the scholarship, because they'd given them all out. (grr...)

THEN!! (Yes, there's a "then"!)

Last night (being Friday night, home alone) I got a call. It was from them!! Someone had decided not to go, and I got it! I'm now going to Germany for 10 months to study grade 11!!

*jumps around happily, giving everyone a glomp!!*

I was worried for a bit, because my dad said I could either go on my NYC trip (in five days ^_^) OR do the scholarship.. But he said yes to both, because a) we can't get the money back from the NYC trip, and b) he can't not let me go as much as he'll miss me ^_^

So now I have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to get the package to fill out, and stuff... OOoooh, I can't wait!!!

I still can't believe it! It may be selfish of me to say, but I work really hard, and I think it's finally paid off! biggrin

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

Hehe, thanks again guys! You're all so very nice!! Even Aimee for her sillyness ubbloco

So, tomorrow's monday, and I'm SO anxious... ooh, *pace pace pace*

When I find out where I'm going, I'm gonna have to make a series of phone calls! To Tobi, my bro in Germany (not really, but he feels like one!) And to my uncle (my REAL uncle) to tell him too, because he's from Germany, and has Geman and Canadian citizenship. And soon American. Whoot for multicitizenship... Even if that's not a word ^_^

Erm.. right. *continues pacing*

MAN I had a great dinner tonight! Fresh sushi is awesome. And that was rather random.. *wanders away*

Hehehe, yes it came. I just got it in the mail, and it's a lot of forms, and I realized I'll only be home (as in, in my province, that I live in) for 6 days to get it completed before I have to have it back to the other side of the country. And that includes 8 pics of me, a doctor form, optometrist form, and 20pg questionnaire that my parents, teachers and I have to fill out. And 2 of those six days are the only ones I have in school.

*panic* okay, I think this takes more priority over homework ^^

AND I'm babysitting tonight until 10;30, and I have SO much to do, with schoolwork, and getting ready for my NYC trip in three two days. Bah, I can do this.

I should go make those appointmetns now... >.<'

Let me know where in Germany you end up - I might come by for a visit. And of course I'd be happy to show you around Berlin (by far the coolest city in Germany, and ranking pretty darned high in European urban cool as well). There is plenty of space at both my place and my girlfriends flat for you to stay for a weekend or however long. weavesmiley
