Ok, i shot 90 mins of footage this time, and sadely more spinning/less girl on girl jelly wrestling than last time frown. There's some staff, poi, wirewool and other such delights thou, and an encounter with the police, who thought we were devil worshippers trying to set fire to bushes biggrin. There's no nudity in this one, but there is some bad language in places, so i can't recomend it to under 12s. Running time is approximately 36 minutes.

Dialup Version (approx 12 megs)

Broadband Version (approx 60 megs)

I only have the bandwidth to allow about 100 downloads this month of the broadband version, after that you'll hafta PM me to get a copy. Save the file of your choice to your computer, then open it using a program like WinZip!. Extract the wmv file within and load it using Windows Media Player, which will automatically download the required codec if you don't already have it. The codec used is wmv 9 (the latest windows media player format). If it doesn't open properly then try updating your copy of media player (goto help and click check for updates).

A partial list of people spinning in it is bellow:

1m21s - 1m50s OriginalSmit (Wirewool)

1m50s - 2m32s Dizzy (FireStaff)

2m35s - 3m05s Joe Sixsteps (FireStaff)

3m05s - 3m28s Dizzy (FireStaff)

3m47s - 4m07s ? (Wirewool)

4m07s - 4m29s Konsti (FireStaff), Simian (Double FireStaff)

4m38s - 5m41s Pink....? (FirePoi)

5m41s - 7m42s flid (FirePoi)

7m42s - 8m09s Nx? (FirePoi (flids?))

8m10s - 8m27s Vanize (GloPoi)

17m22s - 17m50s flid (wirewool) (virgin burn!)

17m55s - 18m31s flid (wirewool)

26m01s - 27m11s mech (FireStaff)

27m17s - 27m50s OriginalSmit (FireSnakes)

28m52s - 29m17s ucof (FireStaff)

I think some people need to lighten up because even though the site is a spinning sight the topic's on the site are not alway's going to be obout spinning. ( point's to social discussion) and since this is the video's section i think it is a good idea to post about a video that is not up yet for peopl like me who rarely visit this part of the site.

i agree. The video has about 30 people on it who post on HoP spinning poi, wirewool, staff, devil sticks, diablo etc. It has pratting around and having a laugh with police too, but you don't have to download it if you're a poi puritian who can't stand the sight of any scene without spinning. It'd save on my bandwidth if you don't, then we'll all be happy. I can see a point in no videos which don't have any spinning in them and don't have more than 10 HoP posters in it, but this is neither.

It'll also be online tonight, i created the thread in advance because people have asked where it will be, and i wanted to let them know when it would be online, not for them to just assume i never got round to it.

Actually, to be perfectly honest, my comment was not asking that video's only contain uber complex spinning, but rather that they didn't contain inappropriate content. I nearly deleted the jelly wrestling thread the second I saw it. But obviously didn't.

Please feel free to post the new video, just throw in a hyperloop or two for me smile

The socail side of HoP is as important to many of us as the poi technical side and so vids like this are great.
I enjoyed the Kent video immensely, especially when i had the delighful Eleanor squealing next to me.

i may be a bit biased, but i think that the jelly wrestling video rocked....

It shows everyone on hop that spinners are human, it was a video showing hopers having fun, joes has become an amazing event, okay not as large as some spinning events, and we generally dont have the best spinners in the world, but we all met thanks to this web site. we are all different people, randoms from an online world meeting in the real world.... i love it..

i really enjoy watching videos that are amusing, cause otherwise i would just belive that the *best* spinners just spin... who wants to go to a party that people dont have a laugh, i think that the whole documentation for both the spinning side and socail side of kent is shown.!! beerchug

Keep going flid, i support u, although im more of a "socail" spinner!!

okay i know i cant spin well, but this is a "community" and i think the socail side of poi is important..

Sorry about the spelling...

You had me proposing to tie Pink up and then faded to "And then we went to bed..."

Are you trying to destroy my reputation?!

ya i know what ya mean frodo. i like the social side of it too, cause i think at least for me, it takes away some of the intimidation of spinning around awesome spinners too. you get to see people just being normal human beings (ok as normal as we all get at least) and stop seeing them as gods and goddesses of poi ubblol

but i love the spinning too, cause it's ALWAYS great to watch smile

i downloaded the video last night and then got a phone call and never remembered to watch it! ah well, i'll watch it when i get home from work smile

yea, but we all pay roughly the same bandwidth charges for good quality london connections, so as i own my own server (in Telehouse, same room as the BBC) already that'd be a bit cheeky. You can get bandwidth cheaper, but it tends to be on crappy connections. I could host it at home for free if i didn't mind 128k upstream on my cable modem compared to 100mbit. The cost per gigabyte that i pay is 1 uk pound, so 125 downloads is £7.60p. Not a lot, but i host other videos and websites, and am poor frown

You can you know. If you mess up a throw or just don't attatch them but hold them you can quite happily drop poi.
