See, I like this one much better. You do a bit of lateral thinking and you come up with and answer and it's the right answer. With arsn's ones you say a word that only vaguely has something a bit to do with the original riddle and you win a VCR.

Oh, you should read it winkTruthfully, I enjoyed it so much when I first read it. I still love the book for what it meant to me back then. But I know many people who were bored to tears by it. R.

Well to be honest I didn't think the movie was that great either. Perhaps I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the books, perhaps I should??....but they are well a little hard to blunder through.I am going to go and hide now, just in case there are any projectiles that are about to be thrown at me by those LOTR fans who loved the movie and have read the book a million times. Either someone at the end of the assembly line snaffled one from every pack (must be really fat by now) Or the Tim Tam goblin puts an extra one into each pack of 10. winkR.

Here's one for ya...Why do hotdogs come in packages of 10, but the buns only come in packages of 8?(And yes, I do know why!)Why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways? Why do shipments go by truck, and cargo goes by ship? Extra credit to Rozi for using the word snaffled in a post. It's one of my favourites.Oh and APB i wouldn't get angry with you. You should know that by now.Not matter what atrocities you commit.....

I figured out why tim tams come in a packet of 11.

11 is a prime number, it can only be divided equally by the numbers 1, and 11.
Therefore only a family of 11 people can share them whithout someone missing out on the tim tam goodness. As no one (well no one i know) has a family of 11 people, it is a very clever marketing ploy.

oh and Cantus, i know you wouldn't get angry with me........i just like to cover all bases.......you never know when someone is going to snap and pull a switch blade on you

Q: what is in his pocketsis?
A: one ring to rule them all
one ring to find them
one ring to bring them all
and in the darkness bind them
in the land of mordor where
the dark lord rules

Q: Why is Bra singular and Panties plural?

Q: Why do we cal them "a pair of pants" when there is just one piece of clothing?

What is the only word in the english language that means to split something in half, or to put something together.

This is a tough one as it is only commonly used to split something apart.

I tried offering wine around before and no one took it.

Some people ate the snacks though. And quite bizzarely, someone stole a cushion whilst i was in the kitchen.

Home of Poi is such an odd place sometimes.

I've just spotted a new trampoline by the way......
