biggrin ...

Did I see correctly in another thread... are you coming to fal 6?!

Or am I just going barmy!?

No you're not actually going barmy and I would love too but it's more of the case of "when I can get the money together" than anything. You know how it is ... single, living by yourself, keeping roof over head, food in stomache, car under my backside and all the other type of bills that come with it. Savings is coming slowly but I do know that when I come over it will be for four weeks, during the summer, and that is going to take a bit of cash. When I went to OZ the conversion rate worked in my favor, unfortunetly I can't say the same for the trip to the UK.

So let's cross our fingers that the savings keeps on building, stays saved, and that my company gives some good bonuses this coming year.

Nope I still have my pogo stick and it's getting around, just not as much as it use too. It seems like I've had a little less time on the compoodle these days. But what can I say "So you think you can dance" takes up two nights a week and probably will for the next ... 5 weeks I think. I'm so addicted to that show. biggrin I have dance class once a week and we are in the hight of our performance season so I have at least one show, if not more, every weekend. Sometimes I think I'm way too busy ... NOT!!!

At least I stay out of trouble. biggrin

Hey fireNice: doesn't look like we'll be much out of Chicago this time around. If we do it'll be to get up to Toronto for a couple of days. That and I want to do a bit of martial arts training if I have the time, just outside of Chicago.

Gidg: Hawaii will have to wait for another time. frown Although free accomadation and use of a vehicle is pretty hard to pass up. Just have to be thankful that we managed to get good prices on our tickets, even without stop-overs!

gday, gidg!! agree, bummer about CG... if brissie seems like years away from adelaide, portland, is a lifetime...

I've never read your intro before... guitar, lotsa other musically stuff... anne mccaffrey (I ubblove her stuff - have you read 'the crystal singer' books?)... camping... way cool stuff... biggrin

Welcome to the world of Gidg, Pat! You've never read my intro before?!! I'm Crushed! wink That OK's, I don't want to even think how far down in the pile this thread was. rolleyes

I've read only one of the crystal singer books but I've been meaning to get the rest of them. I just don't seem to have a lot of time reading these days. I need to put it on my list of things to do.

umm Way cool stuff? I'm going to have to go and see what I put in my intro. wink

Maybe one of these days we'll make it to CG. After all it only took me three years to get to Australia once I decided that I wanted to go.

mmm... I'm the same with the dragon/pern series... haven't read nearly enough and what I have read hasn't been in order... tongue

CG... love-ly it would be ubblove, but beth's suggestion of squeezing the youngins into a suitcase, while amusing and scarily tempting, is prolly, in reality, not going to work... hope we make it one day biggrin

I have all but two of everything she wrote about Pern, all of Petaybee and Tower & Hive. I've started Freedom, Ship, Acorna and Crystal Singers ... as you can tell she's one of my favorites.

eek Stuffing the chickies in a suitcase? Oh that would SO not work, even for CG. It's called save, save, save or wait til the chillins are no longer living at home. It will be there when we can afford it ... I hope. *giggle*

No Skully .... Yes Skully ... umm what was the point again? wink ... Oh Yeah! UK first Oz second. To the question of when. That all depends on a couple of factors:

1. Savings.
2. One more major bill to pay off so that money can go into savings.
3. I'm doing a special project that is going to last about a year so it will depend on when I can actually arrange for four weeks off.

I still want to make it over next summer ... we'll see.

bounce Great news Pat! You can have fun for both of us next year.

Nope I haven't made it to the bridge in forever. Things are going absolutely nuts and by the time Sunday night rolls around I'm on the wrong side of dead tired most times. What I really need to do is just show up with my toys even if I don't plan to spin, I might just pick up on everyones energy.

Are you comming down this comming first Sunday? I know it's memorial day weekend so the attendance may be a little different, with Burning Man and all. Going down will be good that Sunday because I have that Monday off so that I can sleep in.

Anyway I need to make an apperance, I've been getting emails to find out how I'm doing. rolleyes

Which reminds me, I need to go shoot of an email to DracoT before I go to bed.

See you some Sunday and I can't wait to see your contact and doubles ... maybe you can give me some tips. biggrin

I should be up there next Sunday (first of the month) unless something crazy happens (which happens on a daily basis these days). I have no idea what the attendance will be like due to BM, but I'm pretty sure there will be a couple folks burning that night (tho, dunno bout the drummers). I haven't seen Draco at all either. I think the last time I saw him was the last time I saw you. The bridge jam is usually mostly occupied with Fire and Steel folks (sans Fredrick the Wreckless, I think I still haven't met him yet). And more recently has been occupied with newbie(ish) breathers, which makes for a slightly edgy and often slippery floored night.

I hope you can make it.. hell I hope I can make it :P. Should be a fun night if weather holds out... can you feel the fall tryin to break through??? Hah, damn time flies (next month marks my poi anniversary eek).

Ahwell, g'nigh, sleep well.. time to crash and snore.

Well it's a good thing that you came to read that most important one, because I can't read a single one.

It does sort of go light during BM, though we do get some of a turnout ... even with the drummers.
